Three homemade frappuccino recipes that taste just like Starbucks and are surprisingly easy to whip up in the comfort of your own home.

12 oz. fluid very strong brewed coffee or espresso, chilled
8 oz. fluid whole milk (more to taste)
1/3 c. sweetened, condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 c. chocolate syrup
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (more if desired!)
Whipped cream
1/4 c. half-and-half (optional)

Steps:

  • To make Vanilla Frappuccino: Add coffee, milk, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla to a blender. Top off blender with ice and blend until smooth and icy. (Add half-and-half if you'd like it to be a little richer and creamier.) Serve in a glass with whipped cream on top.To make Mocha Frappuccino: Add coffee, milk, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and chocolate syrup to a blender. Top off blender with ice and blend until smooth and icy. (Add half-and-half if you'd like it to be a little richer and creamier.) Serve in a glass with whipped cream on top.To make a Mocha Chip Frappucchino: Add coffee, milk, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, chocolate syrup, and chocolate chips to a blender. Top off blender with ice and blend until smooth and icy, with tiny chocolate bits throughout. (Add half-and-half if you'd like it to be a little richer and creamier.) Serve in a glass with whipped cream on top, and drizzle the whipped cream with chocolate syrup or dot with more chocolate chips.

Sweet and creamy homemade Vanilla Bean Coffee Frappuccinos are easy to freeze and thaw when you need a caffeine fix and are craving Starbucks!

3 cups coffee (strong; use double the amount of coffee grounds when brewing the coffee)
2/3 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup whole milk
1/2 vanilla bean
2 teaspoons vanilla
8 cups ice

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Brew the strong coffee and let it chill. Use a refrigerator or freezer to speed up the process, or just let it chill in the fridge overnight.
  • Add the strong chilled coffee, milk, and sweetened condensed milk to a blender.
  • Split the vanilla bean. Use half of the split bean and scrape the seeds out. Place the seeds in the blender. Add in the vanilla extract. Fill the blender the rest of the way with ice (leaving a little room at the top for blending)
  • Blend until smooth. Serve with whipped cream. Frappuccinos can also be frozen in mason jars and kept in the freezer for up to 3 months!

1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
3 teaspoons hot cocoa mix (add more if you wish)
2 tablespoons hot water
2 teaspoons caramel sauce (recipe #243893) or 2 teaspoons dulce de leche (Good Eats Dulce De Leche)
3/4 cup skim milk (cold)

Steps:

  • combine the coffee granules and hot cocoa mix in a mug.
  • Add the hot water and stir to dissolve.
  • Stir in the Dulce De Leche or Caramel Sauce. Make sure it fully dissolves into the coffee!
  • Top with skim milk, stir once again, and drink.
  • You can chill it I guess, but I never do, it just goes straight down.
  • For aesthetics sake I guess you can strain out any undissolved bits, but I'm way too lazy :P.
