HOW TO PAINT YOUR EXHAUST PIPE WITH HIGH HEAT SPRAY …

PREPARE: Always work in a well-ventilated area, like an open garage, and use a drop cloth to protect from overspray. Clean your exhaust pipe with Wax & Tar Remover by spraying a liberal coat over the entire area, letting it stand for one minute, and then wiping it away with a lint-free cloth.
PRIME: To prime the exhaust pipe, first shake your can of High Heat Primer for one minute after the mixing ball starts to rattle. Hold the can 8-12” away from the pipe and spray in a steady motion.
PAINT: Using the same technique you used to apply the primer, apply 2-3 light coats of High Heat spray to the exhaust pipe. Then, let the paint dry for 1-2 hours before moving on to the curing process.
CURE: Follow the directions on the High Heat spray’s label to complete the curing process.
