These are similar to a packaged brownie mix, they have a great brownie texture and take only minutes to make, just dump everything in a bowl, mix and bake! If desired frost with my recipe#89207

  • Add in walnuts of chocolate chips mix to combine.
  • Spread into the prepared baking dish (the batter will be very thick so have patience!).
  • Bake for about 25-30 minutes (do not overbake).
  • Cool completely before frosting.

DEVIL'S FOOD BROWNIE CAKE

Devil's Food Brownie Cake image

This cake is truly decadent and made with only 5 ingredients. It is chocolaty, rich, moist, and absolutely delicious. I top it off with an easy 2-ingredient ganache but feel free to top it off with a sprinkle of powdered sugar, ice cream, whipped cream, or hot fudge.

HELOISE'S CAKE MIX COOKIES

Heloise's Cake Mix Cookies image

Fast and easy when you don't have enough time to prepare cookies from scratch. If you mix them by hand, they will be flatter and more like a cookie. If you use a mixer, they will be puffier and more like cake. The cake-like version is good with a simple confectioner sugar & milk (or juice if you used an orange or lemon cake mix) glaze.

EASY CHEWY CARAMEL CAKE MIX BROWNIES

Easy Chewy Caramel Cake Mix Brownies image

I found this simple recipe on the back of a chocolate chip package, and they are fantastic! I mixed butterscotch, bourdeaux syrup and caramel sauce for mine, however, one of the three would work as well. **NOTE: Be sure the caramel or butterscotch you use is the thickest one you can find. If you use a thin one, it will cause problems when setting.

CAKE MIX BROWNIES

Cake Mix Brownies image

These cake mix brownies are a mashup of two of my favorite desserts. A woman I worked with gave me a recipe for chocolate caramel brownies, and I have a recipe for yellow cake mix bars. I wondered what they would taste like together, so I tried it-and I've been making them ever since! -Staci Mergenthal, Verdi, Minnesota

HELOISE'S CAKE MIX BROWNIES

Heloise's Cake Mix Brownies image

This was printed in the Kitchen Hints From Heloise section of our newspaper. Haven't tried yet, but sounds quick and easy---my kind of recipe!

Provided by mailbelle

Categories     Dessert

Time 35m

Yield 12 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 egg
3/4 cup water, PLUS MORE AS NEEDED
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1 (18 1/4 ounce) box cake mix

Steps:

  • Grease a 13x9-inch pan.
  • Mix the egg, water and nuts in a large bowl.
  • Add the dry cake mix; stir well, but don't overbeat. If the batter needs a litle more water, add a teaspoonful at a time. But don't add too much because the batter should be thick. Don't overmix - just mix enough so that there is no "powder" showing.
  • Pour into the prepared pan, being sure to smooth the top evenly.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes for chewy brownies; if you like them a little drier, bake a few minutes longer.
