HEINZ 57 MEATLOAF

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Shape into a loaf and place in a 13x9 baking dish. Brush an additional 2 Tbsp. of Worcestershire Sauce on top and sides if desired.
- Bake uncovered for about 1 hour, or until cooked through. Allow to rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
- TIP: If desired, add 1/3 cup of finely chopped sweet bell peppers.
- TIP: Save the leftovers for lunch. Heat the meatloaf slices in a large skillet over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes on each side. Serve on toasted rolls with additional Heinz 57®.
AUNT IONE'S BLOODY MARY MIX (CANNING)
This is an old family recipe. Great when you have lots of tomatoes to can! Very yummy with or without alcohol!

Steps:
- Cook tomatoes, celery, carrots, onion, green peppers, garlic, bay leaf, and parsley in a large pot until mushy, approximately 30-45 minutes.
- Remove the bay leaf.
- Working in batches, place the vegetable mixture into a blender and puree.
- Using a spatula, press each pureed batch through a fine sieve to remove any extra seeds.
- Place back in a large pot and add the sugar, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, salt, and tobasco (1/2 T. tobasco is very mild, so you may wish to add more now or add when mixing your drink).
- Heat this to a boil.
- Pour into clean quart jars and add prepared lids.
- Process in a boiling water canner for 40 minutes.

HEARTY MIDWESTERN BLOODY MARY
Steps:
- in a pint mason jar, begin with ice - 5-6 cubes add vodka to taste,3-4 shots 2 dashes Tabasco 4 dashes worcestershire 1 1/2 tsp steak sauce eg: heinz 57 1 T brine from dill pickle jar 3-4 dashes celery salt fresh ground pepper to taste salt to taste dill pickle spear fill the rest of the glass with V-8 screw on lid for mason jar and shake until well mixed. Note the steak sauce will be on the bottom of the jar. serve Optional - green olives
HEINZ 57® COPYCAT
Someone left the bottle empty in the fridge (well, just a few drops is the same as empty). I had just enough to copy it, then when I brought a sample to my unsuspecting taste-tester, he liked mine better than the original! I washed my Heinz 57® bottle, multiplied this recipe to fill 'er up, and haven't bought another name brand since. Hope you like it!

Steps:
- Simmer all ingredients, covered, in a large heavy enamel or stainless steel kettle over moderate heat about 40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tomatoes have cooked down to juice. Put mixture through a food mill or press through a fine sieve, forcing out as much juice as possible.
- Return strained juice to kettle and bring to a boil. Pour into 4 (1-quart) hot canning jars, filling each to within 1 inch of top. Wipe rims and seal. Process for 30 minutes at 10 pounds of pressure.
