4 cups cold milk
2 packages (3.4 ounces each) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 prepared angel food cake (8 to 10 ounces)
1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 can (20 ounces) pineapple tidbits, drained
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) sliced pears, drained
1 pint strawberries, sliced
4 kiwifruit, peeled, halved and thinly sliced
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, thawed

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, beat milk and pudding mix on low speed for 2 minutes; set aside. , Split cake horizontally into thirds. Place one layer in a 5-qt. trifle or serving bowl that is 9 in. in diameter. Top with a third of the pudding, whipped topping and fruit. Repeat layers twice. Cover and chill for at least 3 hours.

2 cups fat-free vanilla yogurt
1 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
4 cups cubed angel food cake
1/2 cup reduced-fat whipped topping

Steps:

  • In a blender, combine yogurt and ricotta cheese; cover and process until combined., In a small bowl, combine blueberries and strawberries. Place half the cake cubes in a 2-qt. glass bowl. Layer with 1 cup berries and half the yogurt mixture. Top with remaining cake cubes, 3/4 cup berries and the remaining yogurt mixture. Garnish with remaining berries. Top with whipped topping. Refrigerate leftovers.

I think I got this recipe quite a few years ago from a Taste of Home magazine. Tastes good and looks pretty.

6 cups angel food cake, cubes
1 cup powdered sugar
3 ounces softened cream cheese
8 ounces thawed whipped topping
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling

Steps:

  • Place cake cubes in large bowl; let stand 30 minutes.
  • In medium bowl, combine sugar and cream cheese. Beat until blended. Fold whipped topping into cheese mixture.
  • Stir topping mixture and pecans into cake cubes; combine well.
  • Spread 1/2 cake mixture into trifle bowl. Spread 1/2 pie filling over cake mixture. Repeat layers.
  • Refrigerate.

1 devil's food cake mix
1 (2 small) box chocolate pudding
2 (12 ounce) containers Cool Whip, thawed
6 Heath candy bars, coarsely chopped
2/3 cup amaretto liqueur
3 1/3 cups milk

Steps:

  • Bake cake according to directions in 9x13 pan.
  • Let cake cool completely.
  • When cake is cooled, cut in half.
  • Mix both puddings,milk and amaretto in bowl or shake vigorously in large airtight container til smooth.
  • Put cake half in bottom of punchbowl (I kinda break it in half so it goes up the sides a little bit).
  • Pour half of the pudding mixture all over the top of cake and drizzle down sides.
  • Spread 1 container of cool whip all over the cake and pudding mixture, spread all the way touching the sides of the punchbowl.
  • Sprinkle half of the Heath bars over the Cool Whip and repeat the layering process 1 more time, cake,pudding,cool whip, heathbars.

1/4 c cherry liqueur, optional
1 c confectioners' sugar
1--------8 oz cream cheese
1 pkg whipped topping, thawed, divided
1/2 c toasted pecans
1 can(s) cherry pie filling, 21oz.

Steps:

  • 1. Place cubes in a large bowl. Sprinkle with liqueur and let stand for 30 minutes. In medium bowl combine confectioners sugar and cream cheese, beat until well blended. Reserve 2 Tbsp. whipped topping. Fold remaining topping into cheese mixture. Stir topping mixture and pecans into cake cubes. Spoon cake mixture into trifle dish or deep salad bowl. Spread cherry filling over top or alternate layers with cherries. Put 2 Tbsp. whipped topping on top. Chill at least 3 hours.

1 angel food cake
2 containers of raspberry,strawberry or choice yogurt (6 or 8 oz each - can use light version)
8 oz. container of whipped cream (fat free if you want)
6 oz. can of sliced peaches in juice (not heavy syrup)
sliced fruit - use strawberries and kiwis in the middle and then decorate with strawberries, kiwi, peaches and/or blueberries on top or your own choice of fruit.

Steps:

  • Cut angel food cake into 1-inch pieces. Reserve a couple slices of the peaches, and dice the rest. Combine the diced peaches, cool whip and yogurt in medium bowl. In a trifle bowl (or bowl that has a flat bottom), put one layer of the angel food cake down, then layer about 1/3 of the yogurt/cool whip/peach mixture, slightly pressing down on the angel food cake, . Repeat: layer of angel food cake and yogurt mixture. Then put a layer of fruit - sliced strawberries and/or kiwis. Then layer with angel food cake followed by the remaining yogurt mixture. Decorate the top with sliced fruit, including the sliced peaches you saved. Refrigerate for a couple hours - it is best when it's had time to set. This can be divided into two smaller bowls if you want. It's also really great the next day - the flavors soak in. beautiful to serve and healthy if not overdone.
