FUN YUMMY GUMMY WORMS JELLO RECIPE
Do your kids love gummy worms candy? Mine sure do! I created a Fun Yummy Gummy Worms Jello Recipe that my boys claim tastes just like gummy worms. It really does taste just like gummy worms! They just love it! This recipe could be made for a snack or as a side dish as part of a meal. I like this recipe because it's super easy to make and its so pretty! Perfect for parties or as an every day snack.

- Spray a 9x13 inch pan with cooking spray. Boil 1 1/4 cups water and mix with 6 ounces yellow lemon jello in a bowl. Stir well and pour jello into the pan. Set pan on a flat surface in the freezer for about an hour. I have left it in the freezer for even an hour and fifteen minutes and it was fine so the timing is a bit flexible.
- After about an hour, pull the pan out of the freezer. Boil 1 1/4 cups water and add to a bowl containing 6 ounces lime jello. Stir well. Let it sit in the fridge to cool slightly for 5 mintues. Pour green lime jello over yellow lemon jello layer. Place pan on a flat shelf in the freezer for about an hour.
- After about an hour, pull the pan from the freezer and repeat the steps. Boil 1 1/4 cups water and mix with 6 ounces orange jello. Stir well. Set bowl in fridge for about 5 minutes. Pour orange jello over green layer. Set pan in the freezer on a flat shelf for about an hour.
- Remove pan from the freezer. Again boil 1 1/4 cups water and combine with 6 ounces red cherry jello in a bowl. Stir well. Set bowl in the fridge for about 5 mintues, then pour the red jello over the orange jello layer. This is my favorite picture because its so pretty! Set pan on a flat shelf in the freezer for about an hour.
- Take the pan out of the freezer. Boil 1 1/4 cups water and combine with 6 ounces grape jello in a bowl. Stir well. Set bowl in the fridge for 5 minutes. Pour grape jello over red jello layer. Set pan in freezer on a flat shelf for about an hour.
- Now it is done. Cut jello into square bars or strips to be more like gummy worms. Store it in the refrigerator.
HOMEMADE GUMMY WORMS RECIPE
How to make gummy worms that look and taste like the real deal, using flavored Jell-o, plain gelatin, and water.

Steps:
- Pour flavored Jell-o and unflavored gelatin packets into saucepan, then and add liquid and whisk to combine. Allow to sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes.
- Heat mixture in saucepan over medium-low heat, whisking continuously until melted and dissolved.
- Remove from heat and transfer mixture into silicone gummy worm molds, or silicone molds of choice. (I use a dropper/syringe to make this easier for me, adding ~5mL of liquid per gummy worm cavity.)
- Chill filled molds in refrigerator until hardened. (This should only take around 15-20 minutes.)
- Once set, peel gummy candies from molds and enjoy!
- Store gummies in the fridge in an airtight container, or leave them in the molds and cover until ready to remove and enjoy. Lasts up to 7 days.
- Yields 40 gummy worms. (Filled 2 of my silicone gummy molds.)

HOMEMADE JELL-O WORMS
Steps:
- Get your straws and container ready. Make sure the straws are all extended and place inside a tall container. Ensure these are packed in tightly. If needed you can use a rubber band to hold them together.
- Combine Raspberry Jell-O (or the other Jell-O you choose) and Unflavored Gelatin in a large bowl. Add the Boiling water and mix.
- Let mixture cool then add 10-12 drops of Green Food Coloring.
- Add whipping cream to mixture and combine well.
- Pour the mixture into the straws. Try to fill the straws and container as much as possible. The more it's filled, the longer the worms will be.
- Place the container in the fridge for several hours to allow them to get nice and firm.
- When the mixture is firm, take the container out of the fridge and pull the straws out of the container. One by One push the worms out of the straws by using your hand to push from one end to the other. You can also run the straws under warm water and they will fall right out.
- Serve on a cool platter or inside a pumpkin with some candy eyeballs like we did and enjoy!

JELLY WORMS IN DIRT

- Put 3 cups water in a pan, bring to a boil and turn off the heat. Stir in the strawberry and unflavored gelatin until completely dissolved. Stir in the cream. Pour the hot liquid into a bowl and let stand until slightly thickened, 15 to 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, using a tall drinking glass wide enough to hold all the straws, cut out a circle from the slice of bread to fit in the bottom of the glass. Bundle the straws together with a rubber band and stand them up in the glass, pressing the bottom ends into the circle of bread.
- Using a spouted measuring cup, pour the gelatin mixture into the tops of the straws. Refrigerate until chilled and set up completely, 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
- Put the chocolate wafers in a resealable plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin. Arrange the crushed cookie on a plate or in a cleaned flower pot.
- Use the back of a flat wooden spoon to push the gelatin out of the straws. Toss the jelly worms into the crushed cookies, leaving some to stick out.

- In a bowl, combine gelatins.
- Add boiling water; stir until gelatins completely dissolve. Chill until lukewarm, about 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, gently pull straws to extend to full length; place in tall container.
- Blend cream and food coloring with the lukewarm gelatin mixture. Pour into container, filling straws.
- Chill until gelatin is firm, at least 8 hours, or cover and chill up to 2 days.
- Pull straws from container (if using a carton, tear carton away from straws). Pull straws apart; run hot tap water for about 2 seconds over 3 to 4 straws at a time. Starting at the empty ends, push worms from straws with rolling pin, or use your fingers; lay worms on waxed paper-lined baking sheets.
- Cover and chill until ready to use, at least 1 hour or up to 2 days.
- Worms will hold at room temperature up to 2 hours.

- Spray JELL-O Halloween Brain Mold with cooking spray; set aside. Add boiling water to gelatin mixes in medium bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water; pour into mold. Drape some fruit snacks over edge of mold.

- Strawberry: Boil water, add jello and stir until completely dissolved.
- Add malibu rum and pour into 2 oz shot glasses (I use plastic) leave some space for gummy worm on top
- Chill until jello is 1/2 way set up and add gummy worm. If you add to early it will fall to bottom, make sure it can support the worm.
- Chill until firm and serve!
- Pineapple: Boil water, add jello and stir until completely dissolved.
- Add malibu rum and stir.
- Follow previous directions to pour and set with gummy worm.
- Blue Lagoon: Boil water, add jello and stir until completely dissolved.
- Add sprite and vokda, stir.
- Follow previous directions to pour and set with gummy worm.

- Add raspberry vodka and stir.
