This crispy, cheesy, meaty croissant showcases Dijonnaise (equal parts mayonnaise and Dijon mustard), one of the test kitchen's favorite condiments. It's also an easy way to enjoy leftover ham.

Ingredients

1 croissant
1 teaspoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 ounce ham, sliced
1 slice Swiss cheese
1 tablespoon grated Gruyere

Steps:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut a pocket in the croissant. Spread mayonnaise and mustard in pocket. Stuff with ham and cheeses; place on a baking sheet. Bake until cheese melts, 10 to 12 minutes; serve.

Ingredients

8 ounces deli honey-roasted ham, shaved
2 -4 slices swiss cheese
2 large croissants
1 -2 tablespoon butter

Steps:

Heat honey ham in skillet or microwave.
Cut croissants in half, sandwich style.
Heat skillet over medium heat.
Prepare sandwich by buttering croissants on each side and grilling them until golden on each side, top and bottom.
Layer each croissant with honey ham and swiss cheese.
Drizzle with honey mustard sauce.
