Another blast from my past that my kids still enjoy! My German Grandma used to make this for us if we had a cold or just needed to warm up on a cold night. I now make it for my kids and they enjoy it a lot. Please note that children under 1 year are not supposed to have honey. Enjoy!

Ingredients

8 ounces water
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (we have used the bottled kind too)
2 tablespoons honey

Steps:

Boil water and pour into mug.
Stir in lemon and honey. ***Tip - use measuring spoon to stir in honey so it all melts off.***.

1/4 cup lemon juice (fresh-squeezed or concentrate)
1 teaspoon honey (or more to taste)
7 whole cloves
Irish whiskey (to taste)
3/4 cup boiling water

Steps:

Mix all the ingredients together, and drink at bedtime.
Works wonders!

To a cup add thinly sliced ginger and muddle with a honey dipper (this step is optional), add honey, lemon juice then pour the hot water and mix to combine. Add a few slices of the lemon to the cup, and steep for about 3 minutes and serve. Do not serve a hot drink to children and honey should not be given to a child under one.
