Steps:
- Cream butter and sugar together.
- Beat in egg and add corn sryrup.
- Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together and add; mix well.
- Shape into 7" pencil sized ropes.
- Form into a horseshoe and bring ends down to center of rope overlapping and pressing ends forming a pretzel shape.
- Arrange on greased baking sheets, and chill for 30 minutes to help retain shape.
- Bake in a preheated 375* oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Dip in chocolate once cooled if desired.
- Enjoy!

Steps:
- Dissolve the yeast in 1/8 cup warm water. Stir in remaining warm water, brown sugar and flour. Bear until smooth. Knead until smooth and elastic.
- use hands to roll out dough into "snakes". Twist into traditional pretzel shape or braid.
- Heat oven to 475 degrees.
- Fill a saucepan with water. Pour in baking soda (2tbls to each cup of water in saucepan) and bring to a boil.
- Place twisted pretzel dough in water for 15 seconds until dough is golden or yellow in color. Then remove pretzel from boiling water and place on a salted cookie sheet. Salt top of pretzel too.
- Place cookie sheet with pretzels in the oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes until pretzels are golden brown.

- Preheat oven to 350°F. Place pretzels in bowl of a food processor; process until very finely ground, about 1 minute and 30 seconds. (You should have about 2 cups ground pretzels.)
- Whisk together ground pretzels, cocoa, and baking powder in a medium bowl until combined. Beat granulated sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl with an electric hand mixer on high speed until combined. Stir in ground pretzel mixture until dough comes together. Cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate just until firm, about 2 hours.
- Shape dough into 60 (1-inch) balls; roll in powdered sugar until evenly and generously coated. Arrange balls 2 inches apart on large parchment paper–lined baking sheets. Bake in batches in preheated oven until tops look cracked, 13 to 15 minutes. Let cookies cool on baking sheets 2 minutes. Transfer cookies to wire racks, and let cool completely, 15 to 20 minutes. (If reusing baking sheets, make sure you let them cool completely before adding more cookie dough balls.)
