Steps:
- Layer the dry ingredients in a one litre jar, following the order above, from top, starting with the baking powder and flour. Press each layer down before adding the next. The amounts given should exactly fill a one litre jar.
- Give to your friend :) Remember to include a tag with the following instructions
- For the tag:
- Combine the contents of the jar with 150g melted butter and 3 beaten eggs. Mix well, and pour into a lined 9 x 9 inch tin. Bake at Gas 4 / 180 C (160 fan) / 350 F for 25-35 minutes.

Steps:
- To make 'brownies in a jar' you'll need a 1 litre glass jar.
- In a small bowl, mix the plain flour, salt and baking powder together.
- Carefully spoon half of the flour mixture into the bottom of the glass jar. Gently move the flour around so that you have an even layer.
- Spoon the cocoa powder on top of the plain flour in the jar and spread around to create another even layer.
- Spoon the remaining flour mixture over the top.
- Continue to create the layers in the following order - brown sugar, caster sugar, milk chocolate chips, white chocolate chips and finally walnuts.
- Close the lid of the glass jar (if you have any extra space at the top of the jar, simply top up with extra walnuts).

- Carefully add ingredients in an even layer with a small spoon or thin funnel.
- Add ingredients in the following order:
- To a 1-quart mason jar add flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add 1/3 cup cocoa powder.
- Add 1 cup sugar.
- Add 1/3 cup cocoa powder.
- Add 1 cup sugar.
- Add semisweet chocolate chips.

FOOD BABE'S CHOCOLATE CHIP PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES IN A JAR

- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt.
- Take the jar and pour the flour mix into the jar. Pack down tightly. Top with the oats, sugar, chocolate chunks and peanut butter to create layers. Place the lid on the jar.
- Create a label with directions for making the cookies.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- In a small pot over medium heat, melt 1 stick of butter or coconut oil. Take off the heat and whisk in ½ teaspoon vanilla and 1 egg. Add the cookie mix from the jar and mix well to combine.
- Drop roughly 1 tablespoon of dough for each cookie on a baking sheet. Lightly press down on the dough to flatten. Cook for 8-10 minutes. Let cool.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
- Take the jar and pour the flour mix into the jar. Pack down tightly. Top with the coconut sugar and cocoa to create layers. Add the walnuts or nuts of choice on top and place the lid on the jar.
- Create a label with directions for making the brownies.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease an 8x8 inch baking pan or cover with parchment paper.
- In a small pot over medium heat, melt 1 stick of butter or coconut oil. Take off the heat and whisk in 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add the brownie mix from the jar and mix to combine. Pour the batter in the pan and bake for 12-15 minutes. Let cool.
GIFT BROWNIE MIX - IN A JAR

- Wash and dry jars and lids in the dishwasher.
- Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt in a quart jar, pack firmly and brush residue off the insides of the jar with a pastry brush.
- Add cocoa, pack firmly and brush sides.
- Add sugar, pack and brush.
- Add chocolate chips and seal.
- Attach the following recipe:.
- 1 jar brownie mix.
- 1 cup butter melted.
- 3 eggs.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla.
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan by greasing and flouring.
- Place brownie mix in a bowl and stir to mix.
- Add butter, eggs and vanilla and mix until well blended.

- Bake 25-30 minutes.
- Cool completely before cutting.

- Layer sugar, cocoa, flour, baking powder, salt and morsels in 1-quart jar, pressing firmly after adding each ingredient. Be sure to wipe out inside of jar with paper towel after adding cocoa. Seal with lid and decorate with fabric and ribbon.
- Recipe to attach: Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Pour brownie mix into large mixer bowl; stir. Add 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) melted butter or margarine, 2 large eggs, 2 tablespoons water and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract; stir well. Spread into prepared baking pan. Bake for 18 to 25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out slightly sticky. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar. Makes 2 dozen brownies.
