Steps:
- Spray the rack of an air fryer lightly with oil. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
- Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels. Once air fryer is preheated, arrange wings in a single layer on the rack so they aren't touching. Place wings in the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes. Flip the wings over and continue cooking until an instant read thermometer reads at least 165°F, about 6-10 minutes longer.
- While the chicken is cooking, melt the butter. In a large bowl, stir together melted butter, garlic, parsley, half of the Parmesan, and pepper.
- Place the cooked wings on top of the mixture, sprinkle with salt, and toss it all together. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan over the top of the wings and serve.

Steps:
- If your chicken wings (drumettes and wingettes) are quite moist, place them on a plate and use a paper towel to pat them dry. If your chicken wings are without excess moisture, then you can skip this drying step.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Add the wings into a medium mixing sized bowl. Then also add in oil, salt, and pepper. Toss everything until the wings are evenly coated.
- Once the air fryer is hot, add the wings to the air fryer. The wings should be in one even layer in the tray so that they can cook and crisp evenly. If this amount of wings is too much for your air fryer, cook the wings in two batches.
- Cook the chicken wings for 14 minutes (they won't be done yet!). Flip the wings halfway through the cooking time.
- While the wings are cooking, grate the parmesan cheese and melt the butter.
- Once the 14 minutes are up, remove the chicken wings from the air fryer and place them into a clean bowl. Don't turn the air fryer off yet! Drizzle the melted butter on top of the wings then sprinkle the parmesan cheese and the garlic powder on top, too. Toss the wings in these new ingredients to coat them.
- Place the chicken wings back into the air fryer and cook for another 4-6 minutes until fully cooked and the parmesan cheese has slightly browned.
- When cooked, remove the chicken wings and serve them with cut-up carrot and celery sticks as well as your favorite dipping sauce (optional).
