This is a simi difficult recipe, but the result is ever so delectable. I had something like this at Crustaceans in San Francisco. They used the wonderful Dungeness crabs, but here in Virginia I had to settle for Blue crabs, which turned out just as nice.

8 crabs, cleaned and cracked
1 whole bulb of garlic, finely chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 -2 cup butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes
chopped parsley
lemon slice

Steps:

  • Place garlic, onions, butter, salt, red and black pepper into a roasting pan and put into a 450 degree oven.
  • Be sure to watch carefully and cook until onions and garlic turn golden brown.
  • Remove from oven, add crab and blend thoroughly.
  • Make sure the crab (shells and all) is coated.
  • Place pan back into oven on 475 degree for 15-20 minutes, turning crab about every 5 minutes.
  • After the crab has been heated throughout remove from oven.
  • Garlic sauce should be braised onto the shell of the crab.
  • Serve as soon as possible, sprinkled with parsley and garnished with lemon.

1 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
2 tsp cajun seasoning

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven on 400 F.
  • Place the crab legs into a 9x13 bake dish.
  • Combine the olive oil, garlic, and cajun seasoning in a bowl. Mix until well incorporated.
  • Divide the oil mixture into two bowls, and set one of the bowls to the side.
  • Brush the oil mixture on to the crab legs, then cover the bake dish with aluminum foil.
  • Bake the crab legs in the oven for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the crab legs from the oven, then brush with more of the oil mixture.
  • Cover the crab legs with the foil, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Remove the crab legs from the oven, then brush with the oil mixture that we set to the side.
  • Serve and enjoy!

6 pounds crab legs (Dungeness crab, king crab, snow crab or a combination of different types)
1/2 cup butter
1 tablespoon minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
lemon wedges (optional)

Steps:

  • Place 3 inches of water in a large, deep pot over medium heat. Bring the water to a boil.
  • Crack the crab legs with a seafood cracker.
  • Place the crab legs in the pot and cover.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes until crab is heated through. If you have raw crab, cook for 10-12 minutes until flesh is red/orange and opaque.
  • Drain the crab legs and cover to keep warm.
  • Melt the butter in the pot. Add the garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds. Turn off the heat and stir in the salt, pepper and parsley.
  • Return the crab to the pot and toss to coat with the garlic butter. Serve immediately, with lemon wedges if desired.

  • In large pasta pot, melt butter over medium/high heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add water, heavy cream, cajun spices, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to simmer then add pasta. Simmer for 8-12 minutes or until pasta is tender. Add more cream if needed during this time.
  • Stir in crab, parsley, lemon juice and parmesan. Gently stir until parmesan melts into sauce.
  • Salt and pepper to taste and serve.

6 whole crabs, cooked
1/2 cup Chardonnay wine
1 cup crushed garlic
1 cup salted butter
1 lemon
1 cup fresh parsley
1 cup chopped green onion
1/2 cup old bay cajun seasoning

Steps:

  • Once u have you crab clean all up set it in a pan . Once crabs are place in pan, in a separate pot u will add ur wine. Preferably I like to use Chardonnay. About a half of cup! Once the wine is added then u will place two stick of salted butter. Let it melt slowly u Dnt want it to burn. For the garlic u can place as much garlic as u desire. One garlic is added. Add ur parsley. Let all this simmer for about 8 mins on low heat.
  • Once it simmers pour your liquid mixture right on top of your crab start in the middle of the body first! And then on the outer shell.
  • Once all the mixture is gone slice up your lemon place one slice on each crab. Then add your green onion and parsley. Sprinkle ground black pepper on top and your old bay last this should go over the whole crab remember this product does have salt as well so be careful not to put to much once u complete that place in oven on 375 for 15-20 minute.

2 pounds raw shrimp, headless and shells on
1 head garlic, peeled and minced
4 teaspoons Cajun seasoning, or to more taste
1 loaf French bread, sliced
¼ cup butter, softened, or as needed

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Place butter pieces in a 9x13-inch baking dish and let melt on the middle oven rack.
  • Carefully remove the hot baking dish from the oven, stir in minced garlic, and return to the oven until fragrant, about 1 minute, being very careful that garlic does not brown. Remove from the oven.

1 kg (2.2 pounds) crab
1/2 cup 113 g (1 stick) unsalted butter
4 bay leaves
5 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoons cayenne
1/2 tablespoon red chilly flakes
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 tablespoon coriander powder
2 tablespoons vinegar
1/2 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
1 teaspoon pepper powder
Salt to taste
2 Lime (, cut into wedges)

Steps:

  • Wash the cleaned crab a couple of times in cold water and keep it aside.
  • Bring a pot of water to boil. (Use a pot large enough to hold all the crabs or else cook in two batches)
  • Once the water boils, add the washed crab, 1 lime, 2 bay leaves, and cook till it turns pink.
  • Drain and keep aside.
  • Melt butter in a heavy-bottomed pot large enough to hold all the crabs.
  • Turn the heat to medium-low until the butter melts and take care so that the butter doesn't burn.
  • Add the bay leaves and the garlic and cook till you can smell the aroma of garlic.
  • Now add the spices (paprika, cayenne, coriander, cinnamon) and stir for a minute to get rid of the raw flavor of spices. Add the vinegar, pepper, and salt. Taste and adjust the flavor if needed. (Be careful when doing so as the butter will be very hot.)
  • Place the drained crab in a big bowl and add the sauce. Toss it to coat well.utter.
  • Optional: Add the crabs to the pot with butter sauce. Cover and cook for another 10 minutes, stirring it every five minutes and coating all the crabs with sauce.
  • Transfer the crabs onto a serving plate. Serve with fresh cut limes and sauce in a bowl.

3lb snow crab legs
1 cup water
2 1/4 sticks of unsalted butter butter
Juice of one lemon
8 garlic cloves minced
1tsp smoked paprika
2tsp cajun seasoning
1tsp white sugar
1/2tsp Italian seasoning
1tsp old bay seasoning
parsley for garnish

Steps:

  • Put water and a steaming basket in a large pot or pan. Large enough to hold the crab legs. Bring to a boil. Add the crab legs, cover and let steam for 7 minutes.
  • Melt the butter in a saucepan or skillet on medium-high heat. I like to skim off some of the white foam that forms on top, so the butter is a little clarified but not all the way. This is optional.
  • Add the garlic & seasonings. Whisk to incorporate. Let cook for a few minutes.
  • Remove the crab legs and place them on a large plate for serving. I like to use a baking dish. Pour the garlic butter over the crab legs, reserve about 1/4 cup for dipping on the side if you'd like. Sprinkle parsley on top.
  • Eat and enjoy! I like to slice a few lemons to have on the side as well.

  • Preheat oven 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
  • Place the crab meat in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Add the egg and mayo and mix well. Set aside in fridge.
  • Place the butter in a saucepan. Once it melts add the shallot, garlic, green onions, parsley and cajun seasoning. Saute for about 3 minutes then set aside to cool.
  • once cool add to the crab meat mixture then crush the crackers and stir into the crab mixture. Add the mascarpone cheese and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Peel and devein the shrimp. Cut them down the back to the tail but not all the way through. Place in baking dish then spoon 1 to 2 tbsp of crab meat mixture on top. Spray with cooking spray.
  • Bake until golden brown about 20 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges
