CROCK POT HAWAIIAN CHICKEN ONE-DISH MEAL
Sweet and sour flavored sauce with chicken pieces and oriental vegetables. Nice for us soccer moms on those nights when everyone is going different directions at different times. Once cooked, you can hold on lowest setting and each family member can dish up whenever they're ready to eat.

Steps:
- Combine chicken and soy sauce in slow cooker and mix to coat. Stir in carrots, water chestnuts, and juice only from pineapples.
- Cook on Low setting for 3 to 4 hours. Refrigerate pineapples until later.
- Twenty minutes before serving, turn heat to High setting. Whisk together sweet and sour sauce, ginger, and cornstarch. Add to crock pot, along with pineapple and vegetables.
- When vegetables are tender, the dish is ready to serve or hold on low. I often serve with white rice.

- To your slow cooker add the chicken breasts, heavy cream, chicken broth, butter, cream cheese, salt, Italian seasoning, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Cover and cook for 2 hours on HIGH or 3 to 4 hours on LOW.
- Remove chicken and shred it. Return chicken to slow cooker and add pasta & parmesan. Mix to combine. Recover and cook for 30 minutes on HIGH or until pasta is tender.
- Remove lid and stir on more time. Top with parsley and extra parmesan cheese if desired.

Steps:
- Spray inside of Crock Pot well with cooking spray.
- Dump the chicken thigh chunks into the bottom of the pot and spread them out evenly.
- Dump the potato chunks on top of the chicken and spread them out.
- Dump the sliced carrots, diced onions and frozen corn on top spreading them out as evenly as possible.
- Dump the cream of chicken soup into a large mixing bowl.
- Add the chicken gravy mix, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and ground sage to the bowl.
- Stir well.
- Add the chicken broth and heavy cream to the bowl.
- Stir well again.
- Pour the mixture over the ingredients in the Crock Pot.
- Place the lid on the Crock Pot and set it to cook on LOW.
- After 6 - 7 hours of cooking time, remove the lid and stir the contents well.
- Combine the water and cornstarch and stir until the cornstarch is completely dissolved.
- Add the cornstarch mixture to the stew and stir well.
- Return the lid to the Crock Pot and leave the stew to simmer and thicken for at least 15 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
