Steps:
- 10 minutes before done, DRIZZLE ketchup over top and return to oven.
- bake in black iron skillet (12 inch) to create lots of crust or form in loaf pan for a'slicing for sandwich meatloaf.
- BEAT EGGS.
- COMBINE eggs ALL INGREDIENTS EXCEPT BREAD CRUMBS.
- add bread crumbs to make right texture--not too dry.
- use an ungreased black iron skillet (12 inch).
- bake@ 350 for 35 minutes.
- REMOVE FROM OVEN.
- DRIZZLE KETCHUP OVER TOP.
- RETURN TO OVEN FOR 10 MINUTES.
EMERIL'S MOST KICKED-UP MEATLOAF EVER

Steps:
- In a large skillet heat the butter over medium-high heat until melted. Add all but 1/4 cup of the onions, the celery and all but 2 tablespoons of the bell pepper and cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are softened and beginning to caramelize around the edges, about 6 minutes. Add 2 teaspoons of the garlic, the thyme, rosemary, and parsley and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- When the vegetable mixture is cooled, transfer to a mixing bowl and add the eggs, mustard, 1/4 cup of the ketchup, 1 teaspoon of the Worcestershire sauce, and heavy cream and mix until thoroughly combined. Add the breadcrumbs, ground chuck, pork sausage, ground veal, 1 teaspoon of the salt and 1/4 teaspoon of the pepper and mix until just combined. Do not overmix. Transfer meat mixture to a 9 by 5 by 3-inch loaf pan and using your hands, form mixture into a loaf shape. Arrange the slices of bacon on the top of the meatloaf and set aside.
- In a small saucepan combine the remaining 1/4 cup of chopped onion, remaining 2 tablespoons of green pepper, remaining teaspoon of garlic, remaining 1/2 cup of ketchup, remaining 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, remaining 1/2 teaspoon of salt, remaining 2 teaspoons of pepper, vinegar, and canned tomatoes and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Pour the sauce over the uncooked meatloaf and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the bacon and sauce are slightly caramelized on the top of the meatloaf. Remove from the oven and cover loosely with aluminum foil. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Slice and serve along with the Macaroni with 4 Cheeses.
ELVIS PRESLEY'S CHEESEBURGER MEATLOAF AND CHEESE SAUCE
Haven't gotten to make this yet but I saw Paula Deen's show today and my mouth was just watering. YUM! Paula's show was on "Elvis's favorite foods with a twist". This meatloaf was one of the recipes and I thought I would share it with everyone.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350'.
- Grease a deep dish meatloaf pan with pam.
- Place 2 slices of bread on bottom of dish (this will catch the grease from the meatloaf).
- Mix together, ground beef,house seasoning,chopped onion and green pepper,1c shredded cheese, worcestershire sauce,sour cream,ritz crackers and black pepper.
- Place in meatloaf dish and bake 45 minutes.
- Discard bread pieces after baking. Place meatloaf on a large plate.
- For the cheese sauce --.
- Place soup, milk (whipping cream if using)in a sauce pan and heat on medium heat.
- Add 1 1/2c. cheddar cheese and stir to combine.
- When cheese is melted add, green onion and parsley if desired.
- Pour over meatloaf and enjoy!

- Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich. Now, this might seem like a quick snack that has the potential to be super healthy and equally as filling. Bananas are packed with potassium, for example.
- Fool’s Gold Loaf. If you think you have a thing for peanut butter and jelly, you have no idea how much your obsession pales in comparison to Elvis Presley’s.
- “Party Meatballs” Who doesn’t make a beeline straight for the snacks at any party? We certainly do, and we especially love a host who has meatballs on deck.
- Fried Breakfasts. Now, we can’t blame the King of Rock and Roll for indulging in a decadent breakfast. In fact, we live for a full spread during weekend brunches.
- Hot Dogs with Sauerkraut. Hot dogs just seem like the ultimate summer barbecue food staple. We’re not so sure we love everything that goes into most hot dogs (it’s like a meat mashup), but they sure taste great after charring on the grill.
- Soda. Even if you know how unhealthy sodas can be, chances are you still crave them every so often. And when they’re accompanied by a tall glass of ice, sodas sound like heaven.
- Burnt Bacon Sandwich. We’re back to bacon. And truly, we want to know if it’s possible to have too much of the salt-cured pork. Clearly, Elvis Presley didn’t think he could ever have too much bacon.
- BBQ Bologna. The King could never be accused of having a pretentious palette. And we would definitely admire his preference for simple foods if the foods were actually simple.
- Cheeseburgers. Can’t you just picture Elvis Presley chowing into a juicy cheeseburger? The mental image, alone, is enough to make you long for your own.
- Coconut Cake. Now, this dessert won’t appeal to everybody; it just won’t. Some people can’t get behind the somewhat grainy texture of coconut flakes. And even we occasionally think they’re a little chewy.
