EASY SLOPPY JOES RECIPE ( WITH TOMATO SOUP)
There is nothing like homemade Sloppy Joes. Now that I'm a mom, I make this for my kids.

Steps:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef crumbling it as it cook
- Add chopped onions and chopped celery to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes until tender
- Mix in the rest of the ingredients and cook until most liquid has evaporated stirring occasionally to prevent sticking on the bottom of the pan.
- Divide the meat mixture equally onto the 8 hamburger buns.
SLOPPY JOES WITH TOMATO SOUP
Deliciously classic, simple, sloppy joe recipe without brown sugar or fancy frills!

Steps:
- Dice onion, celery and bell pepper. (If omitting, skip to step 4)
- Add oil to skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sautee vegetables until onions are translucent and celery and peppers are softening.
- Add ground beef to skillet (season with salt and pepper to taste).Cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add can of soup, ketchup and mustard.
- Mix well and simmer until thickened. (About 3-5 minutes)
- Serve hot on your favorite bun!
- Store any leftovers (if there are any) in an airtight container in the fridge.

Threw this together out of what was in the pantry... tomato soup, salsa and barbecue sauce made a pretty tasty sloppy joe sauce!

- Brown ground beef with onion and garlic until no longer pink and the onions are translucent; drain beef of excess grease.
- Add tomato soup, salsa and barbecue sauce to meat mixture. Stir well.
- Simmer for 20-30 minutes, until flavors are combined.
- Serve over hamburger buns.

- In a large saucepan over medium heat, brown hamburger, green pepper, and onion. Cook and drain all grease. Add the remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Serve on buns.
- I like to top with a slice of cheese before I put the top bun on.

I am allergic to onions so I am always looking for recipes that don't call for onions. This one is just fine without. I suppose you could add them while browning the hamburger. I'm guessing most of you will!

EASY SLOPPY JOES
Almost every Sloppy Joe recipe or premade sauce has green peppers as a ingredient. My grown DS detests green peppers and won't touch anything with it in it. I created this flavorful recipe with him in mind. But I think that even those folks who like green peppers would like this version.
