EASY SPICY ROASTED POTATOES
Slight twist to an old favorite. Chili powder gives the potatoes and onions in this recipe some zing! I make these for breakfast every Sunday, and my family loves them!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- Arrange the potatoes and onions in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish so that they are evenly distributed. Season with garlic powder, salt and chili powder. Drizzle with olive oil. Stir to coat potatoes and onions with oil and spices.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven, until potatoes are fork tender and slightly crispy. Stir every 10 minutes. When done, sprinkle with cheese. Wait about 5 minutes for the cheese to melt before serving.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Mix dill weed, garlic powder, salt and pepper in small bowl. Set aside.
- Toss potatoes with oil in large bowl. Sprinkle seasoning mixture over potatoes; toss to coat.
- Spread potatoes in single layer on foil-lined 15x10x1-inch baking pan.
- Bake 40 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown.

Tired of mashed, baked and fried potatoes? Well I was. This recipe came to me through experimentation. I have taken this side dish to pot-lucks, various outings, and picnics and I am always asked for the recipe. Excellent side dish and VERY EASY to make. Hope you enjoy it too!

Steps:
- Scrub potatoes and cut into 1 inch cubes.
- Cut up onions and pepper (chunky).
- Place stick of margarine into gallon-size zip lock bag and place in microwave until melted.
- Add potatoes, green pepper, onions and onion soup mix in bag.
- Mix throughly in bag.
- Empty contents of bag into glass baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

- Wash and slice potatoes into an oven safe, buttered dish.
- Mix mushrooms, onion soup and onions together.
- Toss with potatoes and then add water and mix well.
- Dot finished potatoes generously with butter.
- Seal the pan with foil or with lid.

- In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in 2/3 cup warm water. In a large bowl, combine mashed potatoes, sugar, shortening, eggs, salt, remaining 2/3 cup water, yeast mixture and 2 cups flour; beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough., Do not knead. Shape into a ball; place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour., Punch down dough; divide into thirds. Divide and shape 1 portion into 15 balls; place in a greased 9-in. round baking pan. Cover with a kitchen towel. Repeat with remaining dough. Let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375°., Bake rolls until golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Remove from pans to wire racks. Serve warm.
