- Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla. Combine flour, oats, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Fold in bacon and pecans. , Spread into a greased 9-in. square baking pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 20-25 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. For glaze, in a small bowl, mix confectioners' sugar, syrup and if desired, maple flavoring. Drizzle over bars; let stand until set.

- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Grease an 8-by-8-inch baking pan with gluten-free cooking spray. Line the pan with an overhanging piece of parchment paper to easily remove the bars.
- Place the apples, walnuts, chopped and sliced almonds, flaxseed meal, puffs cereal, hemp seeds, protein powder, cinnamon, salt, rice syrup and maple syrup in a large bowl. Stir to combine and evenly coat. Transfer the apple mixture to the prepared pan and, using a greased piece of parchment paper, press down firmly to spread evenly. Bake until just firm, about 12 minutes. Let cool completely on a rack.
- Reduce the oven temperature to 250 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top. Remove the apple bar from the pan and cut evenly into 12 bars. Place, gooey-side up, on the wire rack. Bake until almost dry to the touch, about 15 minutes. Let cool completely on a rack.

- Preheat oven to 350°. Line a 13x9-in. baking pan with parchment, letting ends extend up sides. , In a large bowl, beat brown sugar, melted butter, syrup and vanilla until blended. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. In another bowl, whisk flour, salt and baking soda; gradually beat into brown sugar mixture. Stir in apples (batter will be thick)., Transfer to prepared pan. Bake until top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in center comes out with moist crumbs, 25-30 minutes., Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat; stir in syrup and brown sugar. Steps:
- Preheat over to 325F and spray a baking sheet or 9x12 baking dish with non-stick spray. The 9x12 baking dish will yeild thicker bars.
- Mix oats, powdered milk, and protein powder in bowl and blend well.
- In separate bowl, combine eggwhites, apple juice, applesauce, and the sugar-free syrup and blend well.
- Stir liquid mixture into dry ingredients until blended. The consistency will be thick and similar to cookie dough.
- Spread batter onto pan and bake until edges are crisp and browned.
- Cut into 10 bars and store in airtight container or freeze.

- In a medium heavy pot, combine milk, peanut butter, and maple syrup/honey over low heat. Stir just until all ingredients are well combined and warmed through. Remove from heat.
- Add protein powder, oats, and optional cinnamon or add-ins. Stir to combine well. Taste and add more maple syrup or honey if desired. (If mixture is too thick to stir, simply add a bit more milk.)
- Lightly grease an 8×8 pan. Press evenly into pan, using firm pressure to compress mixture into desired bar thickness. Tip: use wet or lightly greased hands to prevent sticking.
- Allow bars to cool completely. Once cool, cut into squares. If desired, drizzle with melted chocolate and let cool. Wrap in airtight container and store at moderate room temp for several days, or chilled in fridge for a week.
