These grilled steak kebabs are juicy and mouthwatering-delicious! It marinates overnight which makes the steak kebabs tender and so flavorful.

- Add all marinade ingredients to a medium bowl and whisk to combine.
- Place chopped steak into large mixing bowl or Ziploc bag and pour marinade over meat. Stir to combine, cover (or seal the bag) and refrigerate overnight, stirring once or twice while marinating. Allow at least 8 hours for marinade to tenderize meat.
- Skewer marinated meat along with the sliced veggies, alternating them on the skewer. Grill steak kabobs over med/high heat for about 8-10 min or until desired doneness is reached, rotating every 2-3 min for even grilling. Remove kebobs from grill and let them rest at least 5 min before eating.

- To a large ziptop bag, add the soy sauce, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, pepper, steak, seal bag, and squish contents around to mix and evenly coat the steak. Place bag in the fridge to marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
- Preheat an outdoor gas grill to medium heat; alternatively preheat an indoor grill pan.
- To a wooden skewer, add a piece of steak, pieces of peppers, onion, zucchini, pineapple, and repeat the ingredients until the skewer is full. Repeat with all remaining skewers.
- Add the kabobs to a lightly oiled grill, cover, and cook for about 7 minutes for medium rare (145F) and about 8 to 9 minutes for medium (160F) doneness. Turn kabobs occasionally. Exact cooking time will vary on the type of grill, the size, the heat level, how big the pieces of steak are on each kabob, etc. Cook until done to your personal preference.
- If desired, season with salt and pepper, and optionally garnish with fresh herbs. Let kabobs rest a few minutes prior to serving. Kabobs are best warm and fresh.

- Marinate - Combine steak kabob marinade ingredients in casserole dish. Add steak and allow to marinate 1+ hour, up to 4 hours refrigerated, covered.
- Assemble Skewers - Add steak and vegetables to wooden skewers, leaving room to handle.
- Grill - Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Brush olive oil onto the grate. Brush vegetables with olive oil. Add skewers to grill. For steak prepared medium, grill 2 minutes per side for a total of 8 minutes.

- In a large resealable plastic bag, mix the teriyaki sauce, honey, garlic powder, and ginger. Place red bell peppers, onion wedges, mushrooms, beef, and chicken in the bag with the marinade. Seal, and refrigerate 4 to 24 hours.
- Preheat grill for medium-high heat.
- Discard marinade, and thread the meat and vegetables onto skewers, leaving a small space between each item.
- Lightly oil the grill grate. Grill skewers for 10 minutes, turning as needed, or until meat is cooked through and vegetables are tender.

- In a small bowl or glass measuring cup, whisk together all ingredients for the marinade.
- Cut steak into pieces and transfer to a large ziploc bag.
- Pour the marinade over the steak and refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to 8 hours.
- Remove the steak from the bag and discard the excess marinade.
- Heat grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread steak and vegetables seasoned with salt and pepper onto skewers alternating between different types of veggies and the steak.
- Place steak kabobs onto the hot grill and cook for 3 to 5 minutes per side, turning as needed to make sure all sides are evenly cooked.
- Remove from grill and serve immediately.

- Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat.
- Cut beef into 24 one-inch pieces. Thread beef, bell pepper and mushrooms alternately on each of eight 10- to 12-inch metal skewers, leaving space between each piece. Mix remaining ingredients.
- Cover and grill kabobs 4 to 6 inches from medium heat 15 to 18 minutes, turning and brushing kabobs 3 or 4 times with oil mixture, until beef is desired doneness and vegetables are tender.

This is modified from "Saving Dinner" by Leanne Ely, one of our family faves. Of course, all chicken or all beef is yummy, too, and sometimes I use whatever peppers I have on hand.

- Combine sherry, soy sauce, oil, garlic, green onion, and ginger in a 1 gallon zipper bag.
- Squish to combine.
- Add meat, peppers, and onion.
- Refrigerate at least 1 hour, overnight is better.
- Soak bamboo skewers, or use metal ones.
- Preheat grill to medium high heat.
- Alternate skewering meat and veggies until all ingredients are used up.
- Place kabobs on grill, turning every two minutes to desired doneness.
- FYI - the peppers and onions will remain crisp tender. If you leave the kabobs on until the veggies are soft, your meat will be way overdone! If you prefer softer grilled veggies, make separate kabobs for meat and veggies so the veggies can cook longer.
- Also, if you want your beef medium rare, make separate kabobs for the beef and the chicken. Be creative!
