EASY APPLE CRISP
Use this easy recipe with leftover apples from the fall or anytime in the year when you want an easy take-along dish or when company arrives at your door unexpectedly!!!! Serve warm with ice cream or whipped topping. You can substitute 2 (21 ounce) cans of apple pie filling for the apples and water.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Arrange apples in an even layer in bottom of baking dish. Pour water over apples.
- In a medium bowl mix together cake mix, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir in melted butter or margarine until ingredients are thoroughly blended; mixture will be crumbly. Sprinkle mixture over apples.
- Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes.

- 1. Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 13" baking dish w/ cooking spray. Place apple slices in an even layer in baking dish.
- 2. Pour water over apples. In bowl, mix together cake mix, brown sugar and cinnamon. Stir in butter until crumbly.
- 3. Sprinkle cake mixture evenly over apples and water. Bake 30 mins or until bubbly.

- 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
- 2. Peel, core and slice the apples. Spread the apple evenly on the bottom of the greased baking dish.
- 3. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, oats, brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice. Pour the melted butter over the top of the dry ingredients. Mix with a fork until it looks crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over the apples.
- 4. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 - 40 minutes. Topping should be a nice golden brown and the apples should be tender.
- 5. Serve Warm or Cooled.
