These are similar to a packaged brownie mix, they have a great brownie texture and take only minutes to make, just dump everything in a bowl, mix and bake! If desired frost with my recipe#89207

1 (18 1/4 ounce) dark chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1/3 cup dark brown sugar (if you like a less sweeter taste use 1/4 cup)
1/4 cup water
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup chopped walnuts or 3/4 cup chocolate chips
frosting, of you choice

Steps:

  • Set oven to 375 degrees (second-lowest rack).
  • Grease an 11x7 or a 13x9-inch baking pan (the brownies baked in a 13x9 pan will not be as high).
  • In a large bowl using an electric mixer beat all ingredients except walnuts or chocolate chips until smooth (the batter will be thick).
  • Add in walnuts of chocolate chips mix to combine.
  • Spread into the prepared baking dish (the batter will be very thick so have patience!).
  • Bake for about 25-30 minutes (do not overbake).
  • Cool completely before frosting.

175g unsalted butter, plus extra for greasing
225g dark chocolate, broken into pieces
200g caster sugar
3 medium eggs, separated
65g plain flour
50g chopped pecan nuts

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 180C/fan 160C/gas 4. Butter a 20-25cm cake tin and line with greaseproof paper.
  • Place 175g/6oz of the chocolate, plus the butter and sugar in a heavy-based pan and heat gently until melted, stirring occasionally. Leave to cool.
  • Whisk the egg yolks into the chocolate mixture, then add the flour, nuts and the remaining chocolate.
  • Whisk the egg whites until they form soft peaks, then gently, but thoroughly, fold into the chocolate mixture.
  • Pour into the prepared tin and bake in the centre of the oven for about 35-40 mins until crusty on top. Leave to cool, then run a knife around the sides and remove from the tin. Dust with icing sugar and serve warm with custard or ice cream or cold with cream.

1 1/2 cups sugar
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chunks
Vanilla ice cream, for serving

Steps:

  • Line the insert of a 4- or 6-quart slow cooker with a large piece of foil, then generously butter the foil.
  • Whisk together the melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, flour, eggs, vanilla and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a medium bowl. Fold in the chocolate chunks. Half a box of Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie mix (about 1 3/4 cups)
4 extra-large eggs
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 1/4 cups water
Half a container of Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy Chocolate or Chocolate Fudge frosting
Chopped pecans or mini chocolate chips, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour a Bundt pan. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cake mix, brownie mix, eggs, oil, and water for 3 minutes on medium-high speed of mixer. Pour into prepared Bundt pan. Bake in center of oven for 40-50 minutes, or until center tests done with a wooden toothpick. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 10-15 minutes then turn cake out onto the rack to cool completely. When cake is cool, microwave frosting for about 10 seconds on high setting, or just until drizzling consistency. Frost top of cake and garnish with chopped pecans or mini chocolate chips, if desired.

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a fluted tube pan (such as Bundt®) with nonstick spray.
  • Combine brownie mix, cake mix, cold coffee, oil, and eggs in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer until well combined. Pour into the prepared pan.

These brownies are not cake-like. They are more moist and gooey. I always undercook them a bit because we like them very moist.

1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 large eggs
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup flour

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 180 degrees Celsius.
  • Mix oil and sugar until well blended.
  • Add eggs and vanilla; stir just until blended.
  • Mix all dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
  • Stir dry ingredients into the oil/sugar mixture.
  • Pour into greased 9 x 9 square pan.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until sides just starts to pull away from the pan.
  • Cool completely before cutting.
  • Note: I usually double the recipe and bake in a 9 x 13 pan. If you double the recipe, you will need to cook longer than 20 minutes.

75g light brown or muscovado sugar
125g plain chocolate (plain or milk)
1 tbsp golden syrup
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract/essence
100g plain flour
½ tsp baking powder
2 tbsp cocoa powder

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 180C/fan 160C/gas 4. Grease and line a 20cm cake tin.
  • Place the butter, caster sugar, brown sugar, chocolate and golden syrup in the pan and melt gently on a low heat until it is smooth and lump-free.
  • Remove the pan from the heat.
  • Break the eggs into the bowl and whisk with the fork until light and frothy. 5 Add the eggs, vanilla extract or essence, flour, baking powder and cocoa powder to the chocolate mixture and mix thoroughly.
  • Put the mixture into the greased and lined cake tin and place on the middle shelf of the oven. Bake for 25-30 mins.
  • Remove and allow to cool for 20-30 mins before cutting into wedges and serving.
  • Serve with cream or ice cream and plenty of fresh fruit.
