This recipe is easy and good! For convenience I use beef bouillion most of the time instead of canned broth.

EASIER THAN EASY - FRENCH ONION SOUP
I had French Onion Soup at a restaurant yesterday and when discussing it with my mother, she said "Oh you have got to try this!", She is on WW and is having this for lunch everday. I hope you like it as much as we do. I just finished a bowl. You can bake this in the oven if you want to toast your cheese alittle bit, but for yummy, it's really not neccessary.

SIMPLE MICROWAVE FRENCH ONION SOUP
This is the way my mother introduced us to F.O.S. in the 80s. It is still my favorite soup recipe and is made in the microwave with very little prep.

EXTRA CHEESY FRENCH ONION SOUP
Better than restaurant onion soup. Make the entire quantity and place in freezer in heavy duty freezer bags. When vidalias are in season, I double and triple the recipe to have the soup on hand.
