Number Of Ingredients 6

- 1 quart milk or vanilla soymilk
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- whipped cream, optional

Steps:

  • In large pan, stir together milk, pumpkin, sugar and nutmeg. Heat through. Do not boil. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
  • Ladle into mugs. If desired, top with a spoonful of whipped cream. Makes 6 servings.
