Doritos crusted chicken is as good as it sounds. It features deliciously tender chicken coated in your favorite flavored Doritos.

Ingredients

500 g (1.1 lb) chicken breast, cut into strips
½ cup plain flour
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
2 eggs, lightly beaten
170 g (6 oz) Doritos, crushed

Steps:

Preheat an oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, and pepper.
Now, in another separate bowl, add the eggs.
In yet another bowl, add the crushed Doritos.
Dip the chicken into the flour, egg mixture, then the Doritos.
On a lined baking tray, place the coated pieces of chicken.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 large bag of Doritos, Nacho Cheese Flavor (11.5 ounce)
2 cups flour
4 egg whites
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Salt

Steps:

Cut the chicken into thin 1/2 inch strips. Using a food processor, crush the Doritos so that they are a texture coarse like bread crumbs. Set aside in a large bowl. (If you don't have a food processor, make a small hole in the Doritos bag and get the air out of it. Then use a rolling pin and crush the chips in the bag). Mix the flour and salt in one bowl and eggs in another. Whisk the eggs so that they are well scrambled. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Set up the four bowls in order: a bowl with the chicken, a bowl with the flour and salt, a bowl with the beaten eggs, a bowl with the crushed Doritos, and then the pan. Lift out a few chicken strips and place them in the flour so they are all coated. Lift the chicken strips out of the flour and shake off any excess. Place them in the eggs and turn them so they are evenly coated. Lift them out of the egg and then place them in the crushed Doritos - again so they are even coated. Place the coated chicken strips on the baking sheet. Do this with the remaining chicken strips. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes.

1 egg
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
¾ cup crushed spicy nacho cheese-flavored tortilla chips (such as Doritos® Spicy)
⅓ cup whole wheat bread crumbs
ground black pepper to taste
2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place an oven-proof rack on top of a baking sheet.
Beat egg, water, and cayenne pepper together in a shallow bowl. Mix nacho cheese-flavored chips, bread crumbs, and black pepper together in a separate shallow bowl. Dip chicken into egg mixture until coated; transfer to chip mixture and press to fully cover on both sides. Place coated chicken on the wire rack.
Bake in the preheated oven until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 25 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
