Muriel is one the the ladies at our Church. She brings this to all our pot lucks. I find it to be very, very refreshing after eating all the heavier sweets. It's like a breath of fresh air!

Steps:
- In a large mixing bowl, pour 2 cups boiling water over the orange an lemon jello mixes.
- Stir until dissolved.
- Stir in tin of frozen orange juice.
- Add 1 cup of the juice reserved from the mandarin oranges and canned pineapple.
- Add the drained oranges and pineapple.
- Pour into mold (or glass dish/decorative bowl).
- Refrigerate until firm (2 hours or overnight).
- Unmold and enjoy.
- Cooking time is actually time spent waiting for gel to set.
ORANGE JELLO SALAD
Steps:
- Mix together 4 cups of water, orange jello mix, and vanilla pudding mix in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil, stirring the whole time to keep clumps from forming. Once it starts to boil, remove from heat. Pour into a heat-resistant container (I usually use a glass baking dish), cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for about four hours. Remove from fridge and break up the jello into chunks. Place in a large bowl. Add in the pineapple, mandarin oranges, and whipped cream and mix around until everything is combined. Keep refrigerated until you are ready to serve.

My neighbor (Dixie) gave me this jello recipe years ago. Everyone loves it! It a refreshing orange jello that reminds me of orange shebert. I have made it for parties, funerals, potlucks and just because.

- In a large bowl add orange and lemon jello. Add the boiling water. Stir until dissolved. Add lemon pie filling. Whisk until blended. Add the cold water. Stir. Refrigerate until set.
- Before serving top with cool whip. I like to use mandarian oranges on the top to make it look pretty!

So I searched and found this recipe on the Aeroplane jelly site. I made mine with red jelly in some and green in others for Christmas colours and it looked so good against the orange.

- Make up the jelly with the boiling water and allow to cool slightly.
- Slice the oranges in half through the ends. Scoop out a tablespoon of pulp from each orange half, and mix through the jelly.
- Arrange the orange halves facing up on a tray, and carefully fill with cooled jelly and pulp.
- Refrigerate until set, and then slice each half into wedges.
