Disney Pinapple Whip Copy Cat Food

HOMEMADE DOLE WHIP

Steps:

• In a high-powered blender, combine the pineapple juice, vanilla ice cream, frozen pineapple, lime juice and salt. Blend on medium-high speed, stopping to push the pineapple chunks down into the blender as needed.
• Transfer to a bowl; cover and freeze for 30 minutes.
• Scoop and serve. Alternatively, transfer to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip and pipe into small serving bowls. (This method will make it look like it came out of a soft serve machine.)

DOLE WHIP (DISNEY COPYCAT)

Steps:

• Combine all the ingredients in a blender (in the order listed); blend until smooth and ultra creamy, pushing down the pineapple chunks if necessary, about 3 minutes.
• At this point you can pour into dessert cups. But I like to freeze the mixture for 30-40 minutes, then transfer to a piping bag with a 1M "star" tip (to get that iconic Dole Whip swirl.)
• Swirl into glasses.
• (To help the soft-serve hold its shape even longer, freeze the swirled whip another 20 minutes.)

Steps:

• In a food processor, add frozen pineapple, coconut milk, sugar, lemon juice, lime juice, and salt. Blend ingredients until smooth and there are no more pineapple chunks, about 3-5 minutes.
• Serve Dole whip immediately in festive glasses with straws or dessert spoons. If you'd like whip to be firmer, freeze for 30 minutes, then serve.

DISNEYLAND'S DOLE PINEAPPLE WHIP VERSION #2

Steps:

• Variation: 2 tablespoons frozen pineapple concentrate plus 1/4 cup or so water can be substituted for the pineapple juice.
• Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Please feel free to add or decrease the amount of juice/ice cream to get a consistency you prefer.
• Enjoy, make slurp noices, wipe your mouth on your shirt sleeve! Repeat.
