Strawberry Yogurt Pie I image

An easy, refreshing freezer pie. Great for hot summer months.

2 (8 ounce) containers strawberry flavored yogurt
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 cup strawberries, finely chopped
1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust

Steps:

  • Mix yogurt with 3 and 1/2 cups of the dessert topping until blended. Sweeten the strawberries, if necessary. Mix in strawberries and spoon into crust.
  • Freeze for at least 3 hours or overnight, if possible, until it's firm.
  • Remove from freezer and top with remainder of dessert topping. Store in freezer.

This is light, healthy and delicious. A great summer dessert. Although this is fantastic in a graham cracker pie crust, I think it would be good using Vanilla wafers too. Also, it is wonderful without the pie crust, just add some fresh fruit and you have an awesome pudding. NOTE: Match or mix the jello and yogurt flavors.

1/4 cup hot water
2 (6 ounce) containers any desired nonfat fruit yogurt

1 (9 inch) graham cracker pie crusts

Steps:

  • Dissolve jello in hot water.
  • Mix in yogurts.
  • Fold in container of Cool Whip.
  • Place into pie crust.

1 box (4 oz. serving) Jell-O Sugar Free Gelatin
8 oz Cool Whip Sugar Free Whipped Topping
1 graham cracker crust (I prefer low fat)

Steps:

  • Mix yogurt and Jell-O, fold in Cool Whip.
  • Pour in a graham cracker crust.
  • Place in refrigerator for an hour or freezer for half an hour. Top with fruit (the same as the yogurt and Jell-O) or use Cool Whip. Serve.

I love strawberry pie and was looking for a recipe I could use. Be sure to use the directions in this recipe and not those on the jello box. And fresh strawberries work a lot better then frozen. 1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 (5/8 ounce) package sugar-free strawberry gelatin (or 2 .3 ounce packages)
3 cups sliced fresh strawberries
2 cups plain nonfat yogurt
1 deep dish graham cracker pie crust (10-inch)
8 whole strawberries

Steps:

  • Place boiling water in large bowl. Stir in Jello till dissolved. Chill until slightly set-- about 10- 20 minutes.
  • Stir in strawberries Chill another 10 minutes.
  • Fold in yogurt.
  • Pour mixture into graham cracker crust Chill till firm-- at least 4 hours Cut into 8 wedges and place a whole strawberry on each wedge.
