- In a 5-qt. slow cooker, layer the green beans, potatoes, mushrooms and onion. In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; pour over vegetables. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until vegetables are tender. Serve with a slotted spoon.

CROCKPOT NEW POTATOES AND GREEN BEANS
I am on a low salt diet so the spices and seasonings can be modified.

Steps:
- First, wash and snap your green beans
- Wash and cut your potatoes into slices *Note I used box of potatoes since I got from farmers market. You can use as much as you want
- take your turkey bacon and and rinse off and chop into diced squares
- chop your onion into one cup
- add all ingredients into crockpot
- Add 2-3 cups of water, 3 TBSP of butter( I use Brummel and Browns) and I added Mrs. Dash Salt Free spices, Oregano, and a shake of garlic powder. You don't have to use the seasonings I use. Anything tastes good in it.
- Cook on low for 5 hours

- Fry the bacon in a medium skillet over medium heat until the bacon becomes almost crispy.
- Add all the other ingredients (including the bacon) to the crock pot - reserve the butter for later.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or High for 4 Hours. Check your potatoes for doneness after the cooking time is up. Add additional time if needed; the timing will depend on how thick your potatoes are cut.
- Fifteen minutes before you're ready to serve, add the butter into the crockpot and stir to distribute the butter all over the green beans and potatoes.

- Add all ingredients to a 3 quart crockpot . Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours. Remove onion and garlic before serving. Goes with anything but I like it with roast beef best.
SLOW COOKER GREEN BEANS, HAM AND POTATOES
I make this dish often; I have never really measured the ingredients, but can give you a reasonable approximation. Note: Freeze leftover cooking liquid, and then add to bean soup, ham or cabbage dishes, or use to cook dumplings in. It's delicious!

Steps:
- Halve beans if they are large, place in a slow cooker with water to barely cover, and add onion and ham hocks. Cover, and cook on High until simmering. Reduce heat to Low, and cook for 2 to 3 hours, or until beans are crisp but not done.
- Add potatoes, and cook for another 45 minutes. While potatoes are cooking, remove ham hocks from slow cooker, and remove meat from bones. Chop or shred meat, and return to slow cooker. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, seasoning salt, bouillon, and pepper. Cook until potatoes are done, then adjust seasoning to taste.
- To serve, use a slotted spoon to put beans, potatoes, and ham into a serving dish with a little broth.
