2 lbs small mushrooms (trimmed)
2 cups dry red wine or beef broth
1/4 cup butter (sliced)
1.5 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cubes beef bouillon
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

Put all your ingredients in your crock pot and gently stir it
Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours (your liquid should be down to about half of what you started with)

1.5-2 pounds round steak
1 package onion soup mix
1 large yellow onion, sliced
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
2 cups low sodium beef broth
3 Tablespoons cornstarch
Salt and pepper, to taste

Steps:

Preheat the slow cooker while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
Spread half the onions and mushrooms on the bottom of a slow cooker, followed by the steaks. Sprinkle the steaks with the onion soup mix, flipping them over to coat both sides with the seasoning.
Spread the remaining onions and mushrooms on top, then pour in the beef broth.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Remove about 1/4 cup of the juices from the crock pot. Whisk in the cornstarch to form a slurry. Stir the slurry back into the slow cooker, turn the heat up to high, and continue to cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, another 15-20 minutes, or until juices are thickened. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

1 large steak (halved lengthwise and cut into strips)
1/4 large onion (julienned)
1 (6 ounce) can sliced mushrooms (drained)
1/2 cup shiitake mushroom (julienned)
1/4 cup chopped chives
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon minced garlic paste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup beef broth or 1/4 cup bouillon
1/4 cup white wine
1/4 cup flour
cooked rice
fresh parsley sprig

Steps:

Place steak, onion, mushrooms, and chives in bottom of crock pot.
Add pepper, garlic, Worcestershire, broth, and wine.
Cover and cook on low for 5 - 6 hours.
Approximately one-half hour prior to serving, thoroughly mix in flour.
Serve over rice and top with parsley sprig.

¼ cup all-purpose flour
salt and pepper to taste
1 ½ pounds round steak, cut into small pieces
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped
3 carrots, shredded
2 (14.5 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar, or to taste

Steps:

In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, salt, and pepper. Lightly coat the round steak pieces in the flour mixture.
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat, and saute the celery, onion, and carrots about 5 minutes, until tender. Remove from heat, and set aside. Mix in the round steak pieces, and cook until lightly browned.
Place the vegetables and steak in a slow cooker. Mix in the tomatoes with juice, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar.
Cover, and cook 8 to 10 hours on Low, until the round steak is very tender.
