CROCKPOT APPLE BROWN BETTY
This is a very good but easy dessert to make in the crockpot. I have even added a cup of golden raisins for extra taste and texture. Great served warm with whipped cream or ice cream.

DECADENT APPLE BROWN BETTY
A favourite dessert of many. This makes good use of stale bread. Who knew that with such simple ingredients as bread, apples, butter, sugar.....you could make something so delicious and magnificent! It's magic! When rhubarb replaces the apples, it is known as Blushing Betty! Another example of North American Colonial thrift!

CINNAMON-APPLE BROWN BETTY
If I had to define the "Betty" of Apple Brown Betty, she'd be a smart and thrifty Southern gal with a knack for creating simple, soul-comforting desserts. In this sweet dish, spiced apples are slow-cooked between layers of cinnamon-raisin bread cubes for a wonderful twist on the traditional oven-baked classic. -Heather Demeritte, Scottsdale, Arizona
