Steps:
- Mix the butter and cream cheese together.
- (I put in the microwave for 30-45 secs. to soften).
- Add the confectionary sugar about 1 cup at a time, along with vanilla, and mix well. (I use my hands).
- Place the mixture in the freezer to chill for at least 20 minutes (You want it firm, but not frozen, so check it from time to time).
- Form the mixture into egg shapes with your hands. (It is helpful to put some confectionary sugar on your hands so the eggs don't stick to them).
- When you are done making the eggs, put them in freezer again for at least 25 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate in a a double boiler.
- Dip the bottom of the egg into the chocolate, then place it on a small flat dish. Take a spoon, and spoon some melted chocolate on top, spreading around with a butter knife. (Make sure you don't get it on too thick, or you won't have enough for the whole batch).
- Arrange the chocolate coated eggs on an aluminum foil paper lined tray.
- When done making eggs, put in the freezer for a few minutes to harden eggs.
- Place each egg in a pastel colored paper cupcake cup.
- Store in the refrigerator, covered with aluminum foil.

Steps:
- Wipe inside of both sides of egg mold and along rims lightly with oil, using paper towel. (Or, spray mold lightly with cooking spray.) Close mold, matching up the rims of the egg halves. Snap each of the 6 individual egg halves together until each of the 6 eggs are firmly sealed. Inspect each egg to make sure it is closed and sealed. Place mold, fill-side up, on tray.
- Stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix in large bowl at least 3 min. until completely dissolved. Cool 30 min. at room temperature.
- Pour milk into medium bowl. Add dry pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 1 min. Add to gelatin; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Pour into measuring cup with pour spout. Immediately pour into mold through fill-holes until each egg is filled just to top of the egg shape. (Any remaining gelatin mixture can be poured into a 8- or 9-inch square pan).
- Refrigerate at least 3 hours or until firm. Open mold using a dull flat knife to gently pry between the halves of each egg. (Do not pull on the handle.) Turn mold over and shake gently to unmold eggs.
- Dip bottom of square pan into warm water 15 sec. Cut gelatin into decorative shapes with cookie cutters, being careful to cut all the way through gelatin to bottom of pan. Lift gelatin shapes from pan. Reserve scraps for snacking. Store leftover eggs, gelatin cutouts and scraps in tightly covered container in refrigerator.

BUTTER CREAM EASTER EGG CANDIES
My grandmother used to make these every year at Easter. They taste very similar to the 'Mary Sue' butter cream Easter eggs that they used to sell during Easter-time when I was a kid.

CREAMY BAKED EGGS
My husband loves eggs prepared in any way. This recipe is simple but special, and the eggs come out just as he likes them every time. If you like soft yolks, cook the eggs for 9 minutes; for firmer yolks, cook for about 11 minutes.-Macey Allen, Green Forest, Arkansas
