- In a large skillet, saute broccoli and asparagus in butter for 8-10 minutes or until crisp-tender. Meanwhile, cook vermicelli according to package directions., In a large saucepan, cook and stir the cream cheese and milk over medium heat until smooth. Add the Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper; cook 2 minutes longer or until blended. Remove from the heat., Stir lemon zest into the vegetables. Drain vermicelli; place in a large serving bowl. Add vegetables and cheese sauce; toss to coat. Serve immediately.

- Cook bacon until crispy over medium high heat, drain and set aside, reserving 2 tablespoons bacon grease.
- Set the pasta to boil according to the package's directions.
- Whisk cream, Parmesan, egg yolks, and worcestershire sauce in a medium sized bowl. Whisk in the warm bacon drippings that had previously been set aside. Whisk until blended and set aside.
- Drain pasta and return to pot. Do not rinse! The heat from the pasta will cook the egg yolks in the cheese mixture. Carefully add cream mixture and toss until pasta is well coated. Add bacon, and pepper to taste. Serve.

- Grease the bottom of the casserole dish with olive oil. I used the the oval casserole dish measured 13 inches x 9 inches x 4 inches deep.
- Add chicken breasts to the casserole dish. Note about chicken: use 4 thin chicken breasts, or use 2 large thick chicken breasts, sliced in half horizontally each to make 4 thin chicken breasts.

- Grill the bacon until crisp, then chop into little pieces.

- Cook the vermicelli in boiling, salted water until al dente, about 5 minutes. Drain.
- Place the chicken between sheets of plastic wrap and pound lightly to an even thickness, about 1/3 inch.
- Heat a large, deep skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
- Spread the flour on a large plate and dredge the chicken in it, shaking off excess.

- To serve, divide the chicken, pasta, and sauce among 4 plates and garnish with chopped parsley.
