CRANBERRY-STRAWBERRY COOKIES
This cookie has a little bit of everything in it that I like-- hope you will like them too..There's white chocolate, strawberry craisins and dried cranberries, brown sugar, bacon bits, and butter, and a whole lot of yum!

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350^. Using a mixer, beat together the Crisco, butter and sugars, until light and fluffy for about 6 minutes. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- In a medium bowl combine the flour, and baking soda; whisk to mix. Slowly add flour mixture to creamed mixture. Stir in vanilla, white chips, both kinds of craisins and bacon bits.
- Using a Tablespoon , scoop dough into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes of until the edges are slightly brown. Remove from oven and let set on cookie sheet for 30 seconds before removing. Cool on paper bags or wire rack. Can be stored in freezer when cold in freezer containers.
LEMON-CRANBERRY COOKIES

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix together flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream together butter and 1 cup white sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add in egg yolks and mix until thoroughly combined. Mix in lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until incorporated. Pour in half of the flour mixture and mix until just combined. Add in remaining flour mixture and mix until just combined (dough will be thick). Fold in cranberries.
- Place remaining 1/3 cup white sugar in a shallow bowl or pie pan. Roll dough into tablespoon-sized balls, and then roll in sugar to coat. Place dough balls 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the tops begin to crackle and bottoms are just set, 10 to 12 minutes. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 to 7 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

"My sister, who's a great cook, passed this recipe on to me," notes Nell Wheeler from Warrenton, Virginia. "These buttery bars are studded with cranberries, pecans and coconut. They're pretty enough for Christmas, but I make them all year."

- In a large bowl, combine flour and sugar; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in pecans. Press into an 8x4-in. loaf pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes., Meanwhile, in another bowl, combine the egg, milk, orange zest and vanilla. Combine sugar and flour; gradually add to egg mixture and mix well. Fold in the cranberries, coconut and pecans. Spread over crust. , Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.

CRANBERRY STRAWBERRY SAUCE
This recipe was given to me by my aunt quite a few years ago. It's especially good with turkey, chicken or pork, but my family also likes it as a topping for waffles, cheesecake-even ice cream!

- In a saucepan, combine cranberries, water and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Boil gently, uncovered, 3-4 minutes or until about half of the cranberries burst. Remove from the heat; immediately add strawberries. Let stand until strawberries are completely thawed, stirring occasionally. Refrigerate.

FRESH CRANBERRY COOKIES
These are a holiday favorite at our house. Moist cake-like cookies with lots finely chopped fresh cranberries. The Lemon Glaze is a must and really compliments these cookies.

Steps:
- In a food processor or blender pulse cranberries until medium-fine. Set aside.
- Cream sugar and butter.
- Add all the rest of the ingredients except cranberries; mix well.
- Gently mix in cranberries.
- Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375* for 8 to 10 minutes or until rim of cookie is lightly browned. Don't overbake or they will be dry and hard. :-).
- Brush on the glaze while still warm.
- *GLAZE*.
- Combine powdered sugar and lemon juice till smooth. Should be very thin like gravy. Add more or less sugar for right consistency.
