- In a large saucepan, bring the water, mint and sugar to a boil. Remove from the heat; add tea bags. Cover and steep for 15 minutes., Discard tea bags. Cover and let stand 45 minutes longer. Strain and discard mint leaves. Stir the cranberry and lemon juices into tea. Serve over ice with lemon slices if desired.

- In a 3-qt. saucepan, combine all ingredients; bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove cinnamon and cloves. , To serve, mix 1 cup concentrate and 2 cups water; heat through. Store concentrate in a covered container in the refrigerator.

- Remove from heat.
- Add tea bags and let steep for 5-10 minutes.

CITRUS ICED TEA
This recipe was posted in response for Russian Tea using "real" ingredients. I have not tried this yet but it sounds lovely. It came from the Iced Tea book by Fred Thompson. Since Russian tea has cinnamon in it you could add a cinnamon stick to the infusing process.

Steps:
- Combine the cloves with two cups of water in a small saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, remove from heat and let cloves steep for at least 45 minutes, preferably 1 hour.
- Bring two cups of the remaining water to a gentle boil in a small saucepan.
- Add the tea bags, cover and remove from heat.
- Let steep for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Remove tea bags with out squeezing them.
- Squeezing them will release more tannins into your tea and make it bitter.
- Strain the clove water into a 2 quart container.
- Add the steeped tea, orange juice, lemon juice, and sugar.
- Stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the remaining 4 cups of water and stir to combine.
- Let cool.
- then chill and serve over ice.

- Place the cranberries and water into a large pot. Bring to a boil and cook just until the berries pop, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and let stand at room temperature until cold, several hours.
- Strain out the cranberries and stir the orange juice, pineapple juice, lemon juice and sugar into the liquid. Add the cinnamon stick, whole cloves and allspice berries. Bring to a low boil. It is ready to serve at this point, but it is even better if you allow it to sit overnight.

- Bring the water to a boil in a large pot, and remove from the heat. Immediately whisk in the sugar and lime juice until sugar is dissolved.
- Add the tea bags and cranberry juice. Allow the tea to steep for 10 minutes, remove the tea bags and cool the tea.
- Stir to be sure that the sugar is dissolved, and place in a large pitcher. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.

- Pour cool water over the teas bags in a 2-1/2 to 3-quart pitcher. Allow tea to brew for 5 minutes, dunking the tea bags occasionally. Remove and discard tea bags.
