Cranberry And Pear Cocktails Food

PEAR AND CRANBERRY COCKTAIL

Steps:

• In pitcher, stir together cranberry juice cocktail, vodka, liqueur and lime juice.
• Fill 8 glasses with ice. Pour cocktail over ice. Garnish with pear slices and mint sprigs.

SPARKLING PEAR AND CRANBERRY COCKTAIL

Steps:

• Put cranberries in a small bowl; add 2 tablespoons warm water. Soak until cool, about 15 minutes. Drain, pat dry, and refrigerate until serving.
• Divide pear nectar evenly among eight tall champagne glasses. Add cranberries, and then gently pour the Moscato d'Asti into the glasses. Garnish each with a rosemary sprig.

PEAR CRANBERRY SPARKLERS

Steps:

• Combine nectar and juice up to 3 days in advance. Pour into champagne flutes or wineglasses; top with seltzer or Prosecco right before serving.

PEAR AND CRANBERRY BELLINI

Steps:

• In a small pitcher or large liquid measuring cup, combine pear nectar and cranberry juice cocktail. Pour 1/4 cup juice mixture into each of 8 champagne glasses. Dividing evenly, top with Prosecco or other dry sparkling white wine.

SPICED CRANBERRY & PEAR RELISH

Steps:

• Put all the ingredients except the pear in a non-reactive saucepan with a large pinch of salt. Bring it slowly to a simmer, stirring to make sure all the sugar has dissolved. Add the pear and continue cooking until the mixture has the consistency of thick jam.
• Sterilise your jars and lids by washing them in hot soapy water, rinsing well and drying them in a warm oven. Spoon the hot relish into the hot jars and seal. Leave to cool. Will keep unopened in a cool, dark place for up to 6 months. Once opened, relish is best eaten within 2 months.

MULLED PEAR & CRANBERRY PUNCH

Steps:

• Put all the ingredients into your biggest saucepan or casserole dish. When you're ready to serve, heat to just below simmering point, then ladle into glasses.
