CRANBERRIES JUBILEE
A twist on the traditional cherries jubilee. from a very old cranberry cookbook

Steps:
- 1. Mix sugar and water in pan. Stir to dissolve sugar. Bring to boiling. Boil 5 minutes. Add cranberries and bring to boiling again. Cook 5minutes. Turn into heat proof bowl or blazer pan of chafing dish. heat brandy and pour over cranberry mixture. Blend into sauce and serve at once over ice cream. Makes 2 1/2 cups sauce

- Combine sugar and water in saucepan, stirring to dissolve sugar.
- Bring to boiling; boil 5 minutes.
- Add cranberries and bring to boiling again; cook 5 minutes.
- Turn into heat-proof bowl or blazer pan of chafing dish.
- Heat brandy.
- Ignite brandy and pour over cranberry mixture. Blend into sauce and serve immediately over ice cream.

- In a medium saucepan, mix the water and sugar. Bring to boiling, stirring to dissolve sugar. Boil rapidly, uncovered, 5 minutes. Add cranberries. Return to boiling; reduce heat. Boil gently, uncovered, 3 to 4 minutes or until cranberries pop, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Leave in saucepan, or transfer to a heat-safe-bowl or chafing dish.
- In a small saucepan, heat brandy until it almost simmers. Use a long fireplace match to ignite brandy in the saucepan. Carefully pour the flaming brandy over sauce. When flame dies, spoon sauce over ice cream. Makes 6 to 8 servings (2-1/4 cups)
