Corn Chex Bars Food

CHEX CARAMEL CORN

Steps:

• In large microwavable bowl, mix cereal, popcorn and peanuts. Set aside.
• In medium microwavable bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and vanilla. Microwave uncovered on High about 2 minutes or until mixture is boiling; stirring after 1 minute. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
• Microwave uncovered on High 4 to 5 minutes, stirring and scraping bowl after every minute.
• Spread on waxed paper until cooled, stirring occasionally to break up. Store in airtight container.

NO BAKE PEANUT BUTTER CHEX BARS RECIPE

Steps:

• Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix the cereal and peanuts in a large bowl.
• In a medium saucepan stir together the brown sugar and corn syrup over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a boil for 1 minute. Then remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter, vanilla, and salt. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
• Pour the peanut butter mixture over the cereal mixture. Toss carefully with a wooden spoon until all of the cereal is covered.
• Transfer the mixture into the prepared 9 x 13 inch pan and press down gently. Cool for about 20 minutes.
• Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave stirring every 20 seconds until completely melted and smooth. Drizzle over the cooled bars. Let the chocolate cool.
• Cut into bars and enjoy!

CHEX DESSERT BARS

Steps:

• Combine marshmallows, butter and peanut butter, melt over low heat or in microwave (microwave & stir in 1 minute increments, usually takes about 3 minutes).
• Combine cereal, M&M's, pretzels and peanuts in a large bowl. Pour melted butter mixture over cereal & mix well, quickly.
• Pat into a greased 9x13 pan and cut into squares OR drop by spoonfulls on waxed paper. Let cool 5 minutes and serve.

RED, WHITE AND BLUEBERRY CHEX™ BARS

Steps:

• Spray 8-inch square pan with cooking spray; line with cooking parchment paper, leaving an overhang of paper on two sides.
• In 4-quart saucepan, heat butter and marshmallows over medium heat, stirring frequently, until melted and smooth. Remove from heat; add cereal and freeze-dried berries, and stir to combine. Fold in 1/3 cup of the chips. They may melt a little, but that's okay. Press mixture evenly into pan. Sprinkle with additional berries.
• In small microwavable bowl, mix 2 tablespoons chips with the coconut oil; microwave uncovered on high in 30-second bursts until melted and smooth when stirred. Drizzle over top of bars. Let stand until firm before cutting, about 50 minutes. Cut into 4 rows by 3 rows.
