Steps:
- 1. Cook macaroni until just "al dente", do not overcook or dish will be "mushy", drain and set aside.
- 2. Fry chopped onions and pepper in butter.
- 3. Add ground chuck and brown.
- 4. Add remaining ingredients except for macaroni.
- 5. Stir gently.
- 6. Incorporate macaroni and stir gently.
- 7. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. (Can be simmered on stove for 45 minutes, we like it baked.
- 8. Add cheese(optional) on top and baked 10-15 minutes longer.
- 9. Take out of oven and Enjoy!

My sister made this up when she was newly married way back in 1972 and it has bee a family favorite since. It is a one pot meal too.

- 1. cook the potaotes, while you are browning the meat & onion& bell pepper. Drain potatoes & set aside.
- 2. After the meat is no longer pink add the rest of the ingredients & mix well heating through add i the potatoes last.
- 3. Serve with a salad and there your fast meal
