Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
- In a medium sized 2 Quart pot, boil potatoes in water until tender, about 7 minutes. Do not overcook these. They should be tender but not mushy. Drain potatoes then place them in the prepared baking dish.
- In a frying pan over medium heat, lightly brown sausage pieces with olive oil, about 5 minutes. Add browned sausages to the baking dish.
- In the same frying pan, now with just the leftover oil, add flour and butter. Cook over medium-low heat until you no longer see the white of the flour.
- Add in minced garlic, milk, heavy cream, ground cumin, garlic powder, salt, pepper and cheddar cheese soup. Stir together until simmering and sauce has thickened, about 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in shredded cheese. Remove from heat.
- Pour sauce into pan with potatoes and sausage. Toss well to mix until all potatoes and sausages are coated in sauce.
- Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.

Steps:
- 1. Cut the kielbasa in half length wise and then cut into 1/2 inch slices. Place in a large bowl. You can use any other cooked sausage, andouille etc., if you want to change it up.
- 2. Cut the onion into thin slices and place in the bowl.
- 3. Peel the potatoes and cut into about half inch cubes. Place them in the bowl.
- 4. Add the salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, paprika and olive oil to the bowl. Mix well. Shred the cheddar cheese and set aside.
- 5. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a 9 X 13 pan with cooking spray on the bottom and sides. Add the kielbasa and potato mixture to the pan and spread out evenly.
- 6. Cook uncovered for 35 to 45 minutes or until potatoes are fork tender, stirring every 10 minutes. When the potatoes are done, turn the oven off and add the shredded cheddar to the top. Let it sit in the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

KIELBASA AND POTATO BAKE
i found this on all recipes.com. It was submittted by Geneva. I tweeked it a bit and everyone loves it. It's also an excellent dish to take to a potluck dinner. Some reviewers stated it was "soupy".I adjusted the milk to 1/2 cup. I just keep baking it until it get's thick. Sometimes I have to bake it 2 hours. It really does get thick. The last few times I made it I made it with 1 cup of milk. It seemed to get thicker quicker. I am going to change the amount of milk. One reviewer noted that the spices were too much. My family does not like all the garlic either. They said that there is enough in the kielbasa. I don't use it when making this recipe to please them not me. I sometimes top this bake with Frenches French Fried Onions (Cheddar Cheese or Original)
