Cold Brew Mojito image

This iced coffee mojito is the best I have ever tasted without milk.

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 slices lemon
8 large mint leaves
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 fluid ounce cold brew coffee
4 cubes ice, or to taste
soda water

Steps:

  • Cut lemon slices in half and tear mint leaves into thirds. Crush lemon, mint, and sugar together in a cup until sugar is completely wet. Pour cold brew on top. Mix well until sugar is dissolved. Add ice cubes and top with soda water. Stir well.

  • Make your favorite cold brew or regular coffee. You want a stronger than usual and cold coffee.
  • In a martini shaker, add the sugar and the whole mint leaves. Using a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon, muddle/smash the two together. This breaks down the mint a bit and also releases the fragrance and flavor. Do NOT tear up the leaves, you want them as in tack as possible so they do not break up and float up through your straw when drinking.
  • Put the top of the shaker on tightly. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds, until your coffee is now ice cold.
