Anybody who's ever seen me on Pitmasters knows that Crown Royal is my drink of choice. Students who come to my classes bring me bottles; folks who come up to my rig at barbecue contests bring me bottles, too. I'm grateful, because after a long day of barbecuing I always relax with a little Crown and water-because every king can always use another Crown. But on occasion, I like to surprise my liver with something different. This is as Georgia of a drink as you can get, with a little help from our Canadian neighbors.

- In a cocktail shaker or a large glass, combine the Crown Royal, schnapps, and syrup. Stir together. Place 2 ice cubes in each cocktail glass, and pour the mixture over the ice. Garnish each cocktail with a peach quarter and mint leaf.

- Peach Crown Royal Mixed Drink. If you’re looking for something a little sweeter and fruitier, try this peachy treat instead. With Brut champagne, Crown Royal Peach, peach mango (or pineapple) juice, and fresh fruit and peach gummy rings for garnishes, this drink is like a summer day in Georgia.
- Peaches and Cream. Although this drink isn’t quite as peachy as the one above, it still has a terrific dose of peach flavor from the Crown Royal Peach and peach schnapps.
- Crown Royal Caramel Apple Drink. This 5-minute drink is for those people, like me, who can’t get enough of fall flavors, no matter what time of year it is.
