Cinnamon Buttermilk Whipped Cream Food

CINNAMON WHIPPED CREAM

Steps:

• Pour heavy cream into chilled glass bowl (I use a small but deep glass bowl).
• Beat on high speed.
• Slowly add sugar, cinnamon and vanilla.
• Continue beating until stiff peaks form.
• Tip: When making whipped cream I dampen a paper towel with vinegar and wipe the inside of a glass bowl with it.
• Continue to wipe until dry and place inside freezer with beaters or whisk.
• Leave in freezer for 10 minutes to chill then use to make whipped cream.

CINNAMON BUTTERCREAM FROSTING

Steps:

• Place butter in large bowl.
• Beat on low 30 seconds.
• Add sugar about a cup at a time, beating on low between each addition.
• Add 3 tablespoons milk, vanilla and cinnamon.
• Beat on medium 1 minute.
• Blend in up to 1 tablespoons of milk if frosting is too thick.

CINNAMON BUTTERMILK WAFFLES

Steps:

• Mix dry ingredients in a small bowl.
• In a separate bowl, whisk eggs until well blended (I use a kitchenaid mixer); stir in the buttermilk and butter.
• Stir in the dry ingredients until well mixed, adding enough of the milk to make the batter thin enough to flow from a spoon. I use the whole 1/4 cup.
• Bake in a lightly oiled waffle iron until medium brown, about 3 minutes in mine.
• Serve hot.
