CHRISTMAS M&M COOKIES

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line 3 baking sheets with parchment paper.
• With an electric mixer, beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
• Add eggs and vanilla and beat on medium speed until combined.
• Add flour, salt and baking soda and beat on low speed until the dough forms. Stir in half of the M&M's.
• Roll into 1 1/2" balls and bake 2" apart for 8-9 minutes, until cookies are light in color but no longer glossy.
• Remove from the oven and press remaining M&Ms into the tops of the cookies. Allow to cool before removing from the pan.

CHRISTMAS M&M COOKIES

Steps:

• Cream together the butter and sugars in a mixer for 3 minutes. Add the eggs and vanilla, making sure to scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl. Add the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder and mix on low until everything is incorporated. Fold in half of the M&M's.
• Chill the dough for at least 2 hours.
• Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
• Scoop out 2 tablespoons of dough, and roll it into a ball.
• Place 12 of the cookie dough balls on a parchment lined baking sheet. Add a few M&M's on top of each cookie, making sure the M&M's stick into the dough.
• For cookies that are soft in the middle (that's how I like them) bake for 10-12 minutes until just slightly golden around the edges. If you want them crisp, bake for 12-14 minutes. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before transferring them off the baking sheet and onto a cooling rack.

CHOCOLATE CHIP M&MS™ CHRISTMAS COOKIES

Steps:

• Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, beat butter, shortening, sugars, vanilla and eggs with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt (dough will be stiff). Stir in chocolate chips and chocolate candies.
• On ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by level teaspoonfuls or #70 cookie/ice cream scoop about 2 inches apart.
• Bake 10 to 11 minutes or until light brown (centers will be soft). Cool 1 to 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack.

CHRISTMAS M&M'S COOKIES

Steps:

• In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in M&M's., Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool.

M&M CHRISTMAS COOKIES

Steps:

• If baking the cookie dough immediately, preheat the oven to 350ºF. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
• In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
• In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, about 2 to 3 minutes. Scrape down the bowl before adding in the vanilla, eggs, and egg yolk, beating well after each addition, and scraping down the bowl as needed. Slowly beat in the flour mixture. Stir in the m&m candies and chocolate chips with a rubber spatula, reserving about 1/4 cup m&ms to garnish each cookie dough ball.
• For best results if time permits, wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 24 hours but no more than 72 hours. This will improve both the flavor and texture of the cookies. Let dough sit at room temperature just until it is soft enough to scoop.
• Using a spring-loaded scoop, divide the dough into 3-tablespoon sized balls and drop onto prepared baking sheets. Press a few extra m&m candies into the top of each ball of dough.
• Bake at 350°F for about 11 to 13 minutes, or until golden brown but still ever so slightly wet looking on top. Cool for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely. Cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
