CHOCOLATE CAKE IN A MUG

Steps:

• Mix dry ingredients very well in mug.
• Add egg and mix well or you will have bits of egg white in your cake.
• Add liquids and mix well. Make sure you have no pockets of dry ingredients remaining.
• Microwave on high about 2 minutes. Cake is done 15 - 30 seconds after rising.

CHOCOLATE-MARSHMALLOW MUG CAKES

Steps:

• To make a batch, whisk 1/2 cup each sugar and buttermilk, 1/4 cup vegetable oil, 1 egg and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla in a large bowl until smooth. Whisk in 1⁄3 cup flour, 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/8 teaspoon baking soda and a pinch of salt. Butter 4 small microwave-safe mugs and divide the batter among them. Microwave, one at a time, until a toothpick comes out clean, about 2 minutes. Make a slit in the center of each cake and pipe marshmallow cream into the slit. Top the cake with warmed chocolate frosting, then pipe white frosting squiggles on top.

CHOCOLATE CAKE IN A MUG

Steps:

• In a bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, sugar, cocoa, oil, salt and vanilla until fully combined. Pour into a 12-ounce mug and top with the chocolate chips.
• Microwave on high power for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, depending on how gooey you like your cake. Carefully remove from the microwave and let cool slightly. Top with whipped cream and serve.

CHOCOLATE CAKE IN A MUG

Steps:

• Special equipment: a 12-ounce microwave-safe ceramic mug and a microwave oven
• Put the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt if using in a 12-ounce microwave-safe ceramic mug. Blend thoroughly with a fork. Add the milk, vegetable oil and vanilla if using and blend until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips.
• Microwave on high for 90 seconds. Do not overcook or the cake will be dry. Let cool for 2 to 3 minutes before eating.

Steps:

• Optional: Add 2 tbsp chocolate chips.
• Reduce flour by 1 - 2 tsp if using all purpose.
• Mix dry ingredients in a coffee mug.
• Whisk egg white in a separate cup, add remaining wet ingredients, whisk to mix well. If your applesauce is thick, dilute with a bit of water before using.
• Add to dry ingredients. Mix well.
• Microwave 3 minutes on high. (1000W). The cake will likely rise above the top of the cup but that's OK.
• Let stand 1 - 2 minutes to finish rising and cool slightly.
• Run a knife around inside of cup, tip out and eat.
• If you diet allows it, this is nice with a bit of vanilla ice cream. Otherwise try it with some diet whipped topping.

CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

Steps:

• First add the flour, sugar and cocoa into the mugs or the bowl; mix well.
• Add the milk, butter/oil, chocolate chips and vanilla extract and stir well. Add the beaten egg.
• Sprinkle with some chocolate chips and cover with a microwave proof cling film.
• Microwave on medium-high for 1 minute and then for another 30 seconds. It should be cooked but moist and gooey in the middle.
• Allow to cool and eat greedily with some cream or ice cream.

ONE MINUTE CHOCOLATE CAKE IN A MUG

Steps:

• Mug cake recipe: Combine dry ingredients and mix very, very well. Add liquid, stir, then transfer to a little dish, ramekin, or even a coffee mug. Microwave 30-40 seconds. If you don't want to eat it straight out of the dish, be sure to spray your dish first (and then wait for it to cool before trying to remove it).

MICROWAVE MUG CAKE

Steps:

• Add 4 tbsp self-raising flour, 4 tbsp caster sugar and 2 tbsp cocoa powder to the largest mug you have (to stop it overflowing in the microwave) and mix.
• Add 1 medium egg and mix in as much as you can, but don't worry if there's still dry mix left.
• Add the 3 tbsp milk, 3 tbsp vegetable or sunflower oil and a few drops of vanilla essence and mix until smooth, before adding 2 tbsp chocolate chips, nuts, or raisins, if using, and mix again.
• Centre your mug in the middle of the microwave oven and cook on High for 1½ -2 mins, or until it has stopped rising and is firm to the touch.

CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

Steps:

• Grease a cappuccino mug.
• Place all the ingredients into the mug and beat with a fork until smooth.
• Microwave on 100% for 2 minutes. If the centre is still very moist then microwave for a further 30 seconds.
• Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

Steps:

• Combine all dry ingredients.
• Mix 4 Tbl mix with 2 Tbl water in a bowl or mug. You can add chocolate chips if you prefer.
• Cook in microwave for 30-40 seconds.
• Your cake should look dry on top. If you aren't sure use a spoon to pull the side of the cake away from the mug and see if the bottom is wet.
• Let rest for 2 minutes.
• Top with chocolate syrup/sauce, whipped cream, or powdered sugar.
• Serve warm.

QUICK LOW CARB CHOCOLATE PUDDING CAKE IN A MICROWAVE MUG

Steps:

• Place all ingredients in blender.
• Blend until smooth.
• Spray a microwaveable coffee mug with nonstick spray.
• Pour blender contents into mug.
• Microwave for 45 seconds (depends on your microwave).
