  • Spread the mixture on bread. Or crackers.

  • In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat syrup until it reaches the soft-ball stage (appx 235-240*). Add butter and stir until melts. Pour in a deep bowl and beat with electric mixer until spread is thick and creamy.
