- 2. Heat sauce, green and Chicken in medium saucepan; stir occasionally. Toss well with hot pasta
- 3. Transfer to serving dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Garnish with basil or sage leaves if desired

Steps:
- In microwaveable casserole dish, cook frozen french-sliced green beans as directed on package, adding a few minutes to cooking time until beans are soft and no longer tender.
- Add butter, cream, and garlic powder to beans; cook another minute and stir to combine.
- Add parmesan cheese to beans, stir and leave covered.
- Heat prepared chicken pieces until warmed through. Place 1/2 of green bean mixture on each serving plate. Top with 1/2 of chicken on each.
- Garnish with parsley if desired.

- Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and place over medium-high heat on stove.
- Add Chicken to skillet and cook until browned on all sides.

- If mixture is too thick after simmering, add milk to desired thickness.

- Fill a stockpot with water and bring to a boil over high heat. Add green beans and 1 pinch salt; boil until tender, 5 to 10 minutes. Drain beans in a colander and rinse with cold water. Blot dry using paper towels.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir onion and shallot in the hot oil until tender and translucent, 5 to 7 minutes. Add green beans, garlic salt, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook and stir for 5 to 7 minutes more. Serve immediately.

CHICKEN ALFREDO WITH CRISPY BACON (PAULA DEEN)
A recipe that I thought sounded delicious from Paula Deen's Comfort Food Magazine. Posting for safe keeping. Update 10/17/2013: Made this for DH and myself, so I made 1/3 of the recipe, but still made 2 pieces of bacon (will even make more next time) and I added some additional heavy cream as we like it creamy. We loved the addition of the bacon, onion and garlic to the normal Chicken Alfredo, DH even went back for seconds.

- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add bacon; cook until crisp. Remove bacon to paper towels to drain, reserving drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon and set aside.
- Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Brown chicken in drippings; add chicken broth. Cover and cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until cooked through. Remove chicken; shred meat.
- Add onion and garlic to skillet; cook for 7 minutes over medium-high heat or until onion is tender. Add shredded chicken to skillet, and stir in cream; cook for 5 minutes or until thickened slightly. Remove from heat; add cheese and parsley, stirring until cheese melts.
- Tossed cooked fettuccini with chicken mixture. Add enough reserved cooking liquid to reach desired consistency. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and enjoy!

- Before beginning open beer:.
- Cut up 3 chicken breasts in bite size pieces, brown in cast iron frying pan. use bacon grease if you have it in the pan already. Boil large pot of water to cook egg noodles.
- Get out a 9x13" baking dish. when chicken is cooked enough to eat, place in bottom of baking dish, and season with salt and pepper to taste. You will need to fry two loads. don't put all the chicken in at once.
- After you've browned the chicken, cut up the garlic and saute in a different, smaller pan in about 2 tablespoons of butter. scatter it out over the chicken. if your garlic is small use more. if you've got one you just picked fresh with the greens, cut it up and use the whole thing. Heat up can of cream of chicken soup w/one can of milk in separate small sauce pan.
- Pour about half of the alfredo sauce over the chicken.
- Drain the french cut green beans thoroughly and put them on top of the chicken. Pour half the cream of chicken soup over the beans.
- Cut up an onion in slices and batter in egg, flour and milk. Fry until golden in the cast iron skillet you fried the chicken inches.
- Remove onion rings and place over green beans. When noodles are done, drain and scatter on top of other stuff. Pour remainder of alfredo sauce into cream of chicken soup, mix and then pour over noodles. Sprinkle top with parmesan cheese and put into 375 degree preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
