Chex Ice Cream Dessert Food

CRUNCHY ICE CREAM DESSERT

Steps:

• In a large bowl, combine the cereal, brown sugar, peanuts and coconut. Drizzle with butter; stir until combined. , Press half of the mixture into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. dish. Cut ice cream into 3/4-in.-thick slices; arrange evenly over crust. Top with remaining crumb mixture; press down lightly. Cover and freeze until serving.

MUDDY BUDDIES® BROWNIE ICE CREAM CAKE

Steps:

• Reserve 1/2 cup snack mix from bag. Lightly spray bottom of 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray. In resealable food-storage plastic bag, place remaining snack mix; seal bag, and crush mix. Place in medium bowl. Stir in melted butter, and press in bottom of pan. Refrigerate 10 minutes.
• Gently spread ice cream over crust in pan. Cover with whipped topping. Sprinkle with reserved snack mix. Cover loosely with foil. Freeze 2 to 4 hours or until firm.
• To serve, remove side of pan. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut with hot wet knife. Store leftovers loosely cover in freezer.

CRUNCHY ICE CREAM DESSERT

Steps:

• Heat brown sugar and butter in a large microwaveable bowl. Microwave for approximately 1 minute or until melted.
• Mix crushed Rice Chex with brown sugar and butter mixture. Add coconut to mixture and add chopped nuts if desired. Mix well.
• Pat half of the Chex mixture into a 9x13-inch pan.
• Layer ice cream on top and sprinkle remaining half mixture on top of that and pat into ice cream. Freeze and enjoy!

SCARECROW ICE CREAM CONES

Steps:

• Line cookie sheet with waxed paper. Using ice cream scoop or 1/2-cup measuring cup, scoop 12 mounds of ice cream onto cookie sheet. Quickly shape into balls. Freeze 30 minutes or until firm.
• Place cereal in resealable food-storage plastic bag; seal bag and coarsely crush with rolling pin or flat side of meat mallet. Remove ice cream balls from freezer; roll in crushed cereal until well coated. Return to cookie sheet. Freeze 1 hour or until firm.
• Just before serving and using icing to secure candies, decorate each ice cream ball with 1 piece candy corn for nose, 2 chocolate candies for eyes and 8 to 10 pretzel pieces for hair. Top each ice cream ball with ice cream cone hat.

CEREAL ICE CREAM DESSERT SQUARES

Steps:

• Mix together the above ingredients except the ice cream.
• Reserve 1 1/2 cups of mixture for topping.
• Pat the remaining mixture into bottom of a greased 9x13" pan.
• Spread 1/2 gallon of softened ice cream on the cereal mixture in pan.
• Sprinkle the 1 1/2 cups reserved cereal mixture on top of ice cream.
• Cover and freeze several hours, or overnight.
• Cut into squares.

CHEX ICE CREAM DESSERT

Steps:

• 1. Bring brown sugar and butter to barely a boil and poor over cereal. Put in bottom of 9 x 13 pan and reserve some for the top. Take ice cream cut into slabs and place over cereal crust. Put remaining crumbs on top. Freeze.

EGGNOG ICE CREAM DESSERT

Steps:

• In food processor bowl with metal blade, process cereal and chopped pecans until mixture is finely ground. Add butter; process until mixed. Press mixture in bottom and 1 inch up sides of ungreased 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 350ºF . for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool 30 minutes or until completely cooled.
• In large bowl, combine softened ice cream, nutmeg and rum extract; stir until blended. Spread evenly in crust-lined pan. Place pecan halves around top edge of torte. Cover dessert; freeze at least 4 hours or up to 2 weeks.
• To serve, let dessert stand at room temperature for 15 minutes. Run knife around edge of dessert; remove sides of pan. Cut into wedges to serve.
