Chex Candy Squares Food

CHEX CANDY SQUARES

Steps:

• Heat oven to 350°F Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. In medium bowl, break up cookie dough. Stir or knead in cashews. With floured fingers, press dough in bottom of pan to form crust. Bake 18 to 23 minutes or until golden brown.
• In medium saucepan, place chocolate chips, caramel topping and flour; cook and stir over low heat until smooth.
• Remove from heat; stir in cereal and 1/2 cup of the baking bits. Spread evenly over crust. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup baking bits; press in lightly. Cool completely, about 1 hour. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 6 rows.

REINDEER FOOD

Steps:

• Cover a large area of counter space with waxed paper and tape it down.
• Mix pretzels, corn cereal squares, peanuts, and candy-coated milk chocolate pieces together in a large bowl.
• Melt white chocolate in the top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching. Pour melted white chocolate over pretzel mixture; stir to evenly coat. Quickly transfer mixture to the prepared waxed paper and spread in a thin layer; cool completely. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.

PEANUTTY CHEX® SQUARES

Steps:

• Butter 9- or 8-inch square pan.
• In 3-quart saucepan, heat corn syrup and sugar just to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
• Stir in peanut butter. Gently stir in cereal and peanuts until evenly coated. Press firmly in pan. Let stand 1 hour. For squares, cut into 6 rows by 6 rows. Store loosely covered.

QUICK CHEX MIX CANDY

Steps:

• Combine brown sugar, corn syrup and margarine.
• Microwave on high for 1 minute Take out and stir until blended.
• Return to high setting until boiling (about 2 1/2 min).
• Cook 3 minutes longer.
• Add Rich Chex.
• Spread out on cookie sheet and cool.
• Break into pieces.
• *Can add nuts when mixing with Chex.

REINDEER MUNCH

Steps:

• Stir cereal squares, pretzel sticks, peanuts, and milk chocolate pieces together in a large bowl.
• Melt the vanilla baking chips in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each melting, for 1 to 3 minutes (depending on your microwave). Drizzle melted chips over cereal mixture. Pour mixture out onto a large piece of aluminum foil and cool for 30 minutes. Break into bite-size pieces.
