Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°. Pour butter into a 13x9-in. baking pan. In a large bowl, combine the next 6 ingredients; mix well. Stir in pecans. Spread over butter. , Bake 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven. If desired, immediately dust with confectioners' sugar. Cool before cutting.

- In a small bowl, mix flour and salt; cut in butter until crumbly. Gradually add ice water, tossing with a fork until dough holds together when pressed. Shape into a disk; wrap in plastic. Refrigerate 1 hour or overnight., Preheat oven to 350°. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to fit bottom of a 13x9-in. baking pan; press into pan. Refrigerate while preparing filling., In a large bowl, beat eggs, sugar, and salt on high speed 2 minutes. Stir in flour, melted butter and vanilla. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour over crust; sprinkle with pecans., Cover loosely with foil. Place on a lower oven rack; bake 20 minutes. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes longer or until top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean., Cool in pan on a wire rack. Cut into 36 bars. Refrigerate leftovers.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Line bottom and sides of a 9x13-inch baking pan with aluminum foil.
- In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat 1 stick room-temp butter, brown sugar, flour,and salt until coarse crumbs form.
- Pour mixture into prepared pan; press firmly into bottom.
- Bake until lightly browned, 25-30 minutes.
- Let cool, 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in same large bowl, mix eggs, corn syrup, granulated sugar, and 2 TBS melted butter until well combined.
- Add chocolate chips and pecans; spread over crust.
- Bake until set, 25-30 minutes.
- Cool completely in pan before lifting out (use foil to lift).
- Cut into 32 bars.

- Set oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a 13" x 9" baking pan.
- Set aside 1 cup of cake mix for the filling.
- For the crust: In a large mixing bowl, combine the remaining cake mix, butter, and slightly beaten egg.
- Stir with a fork until crumbly.
- Transfer into prepared pan.
- With lightly floured hands, press lightly and evenly into bottom of pan to form a crust (don't pack crust down to hard).
- Bake the crust for 12 minutes (don't over bake).
- Meanwhile, for filling, in a medium bowl, combine the second mixture of eggs, brown sugar, cornsyrup and vanilla.
- Add the reserved 1 cup of cake mixture; stir with a fork, just until blended (do not beat, some tiny clumps will remain thats okay!).
- Spread filling evenly over baked crust; sprinkle evenly with pecans.
- Bake 25-30 minutes, or until the filling appears set when pan is gently shaken.
- Cool completely on wire rack.
- Cut into bars.

- In a large bowl, mix the crust ingredients until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press evenly in the baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

- 1. Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease bottom and sides of 13x9-inch pan with shortening or spray with cooking spray.
- 2. In large bowl, mix granulated sugar, butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir in flour. Press dough in bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of pan. Bake 15 to 17 minutes or until edges are light brown.

- Create party triangles by cutting the bar squares diagonally in half before dipping in melted chocolate.
- Substitute baking butter with canola oil right from the refrigerator.
- Substitute Maple Syrup for Dark Corn Syrup.
