CHERRY DUMP CAKE
Amazingly easy and amazingly good... too good! This is my mother-in-law's recipe that was just recently shared. It would be a shame not to share it. Best served warm and with vanilla ice cream (of course).

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Spread cherry pie filling over the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking pan. Stir cake mix and butter together into a gooey, clumpy mixture. Break into pieces between your fingers and crumble evenly on top of the cherry filling. Sprinkle pecans on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown on top, 35 to 40 minutes.

CHERRY DUMP PUDDING CAKE
This is a recipe that was passed down from my grandmother. She used to make it frequently for her children when they were growing up. It's a delicious recipe that contains fresh sour cherries. You can substitute water for the cherry juice.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 10x10-inch baking dish.
- In large bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder and 1 cup sugar; stir. Add butter, milk and vanilla; beat with electric mixer for 2 minutes, or until smooth. Pour mixture into pan and cover evenly with cherries.
- Heat cherry juice in microwave or in small saucepan, until just simmering. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of sugar over cherries, and pour hot cherry juice on top. Bake 40 to 45 minutes, or until pick inserted in center comes out clean.

My sister discovered this cake at a church potluck and asked the lady who made it for the recipe. Since then, it has been a favorite in our family and it is so super easy as well as tasty!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Spray a 9x13 pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Dump the crushed pineapple (juice and all) into bottom of pan; make sure it is evenly spread on bottom.
- Dump the cherry pie filling on top of the pineapple; make sure it is evenly spread on top.
- Dump the dry cake mix over the top, spreading evenly across the top.
- Melt the margarine in microwave (or stove top if you prefer).
- Using a large serving spoon, evenly put melted margarine over top of dry cake mix, making sure it goes clear to the edge and the dry cake mix is covered. (You may not have to use all of the margarine. I just melt that much so that I will have extra in case I have trouble spreading it).
- Bake for 60 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Check it often toward the end of cooking because it should only be golden brown and it is easy to get it too brown.

- In a bowl, combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, milk and oil; pour into a greased shallow 3-qt. baking dish. In a bowl, combine cherries, extract and remaining sugar; spoon over batter. , Bake at 375° for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the cake portion comes out clean. - Spread pie filling in baking dish.
- Top with dry cake mix; gently shake pan to distribute evenly.
