Found my old recipe box and this one was in it. Can't even remember who the MCP was that gave me the recipe any more, but it sounds wonderful and she says that is is very easy.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
2 cups quick oatmeal
1 (16 ounce) bag chocolate chips
3/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
1 1/4 cups margarine
2 cups flour, plus
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Cream brown sugar and margarine.
  • Add dry ingredients reserving 3 Tbsp of flour and stir in the oatmeal.
  • Press 1/2 of the mixture in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips over crust.
  • Mix caramel topping with the reserved flour.
  • Drizzle this over the chips.
  • Sprinkle the top with the remaining crumb mixture.
  • Bake for an additional 15 minutes.

1 teaspoon plus 3/4 cup butter, cubed
45 Club crackers (2-1/2x1 inch)
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Line a 9-in. square baking pan with foil and grease the foil with 1 teaspoon butter. Arrange a single layer of crackers in the pan., In a large saucepan, combine milk, brown sugar, corn syrup and remaining butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to maintain a low boil; cook and stir 7 minutes. Remove from heat. Evenly spread a third of the mixture over the crackers. Repeat cracker and caramel layers twice., Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over caramel; let stand 3-5 minutes or until glossy. Spread over top. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or until chocolate is set. Using foil, lift layers out of pan; cut into 3x1-in. bars.

2/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
28 KRAFT Caramels
2 Tbsp. water
1 cup JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
2 oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour, nuts and graham crumbs; mix well. Reserve 1/4 cup crumb mixture; press remaining onto bottom of 9-inch square pan sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake 18 min. or until lightly browned. Meanwhile, cook caramels and water in saucepan on low heat until caramels are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring frequently.
  • Pour caramel sauce over crust; sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture, marshmallows and chopped chocolate.
  • Bake 12 to 14 min. or until marshmallows are lightly browned. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

1 (19.8 ounce) package brownie mix
½ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup water
2 eggs
1 (10.5 ounce) package miniature marshmallows
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon butter
1 ½ cups crispy rice cereal

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Mix brownie mix, oil, water, and eggs in a large bowl until smooth; spread into prepared baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 28 to 30 minutes. Sprinkle marshmallows over brownie and continue baking until slightly melted, about 3 minutes more. Remove from oven and cool completely.
  • Heat chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in a saucepan over low heat; cook and stir until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in rice cereal. Spread over cooled brownies. Refrigerate until firm; slice brownies to serve.

1 pkg. (10 oz.) JET-PUFFED Marshmallows
1 pkg. (11 oz.) KRAFT Caramel Bits
1 Tbsp. water
7 cups KELLOGG'S® RICE KRISPIES® cereal
1 oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

Steps:

  • Melt butter in large saucepan on low heat. Add marshmallows, caramel bits and water; cook 5 min. or until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add cereal; mix well.
  • Press firmly onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray; cool completely.
  • Melt chocolate as directed on package; drizzle over dessert. Let stand until firm before cutting dessert into bars.
